Plano Sports Authority Reviews (%countItem)

Lack of management. Overbook teams and events. Moved entire season to a jr high for games and then cut the season from 10 weeks to five by doubling up games for kids on the same day, sometime 5 hours apart. Poor leadership at this facility. Parents and coaches have complained - left messages with PSA McKinney Management, no return calls. Problem is getting worse and negatively impacting the programs. Negative reviews written on Yelp and Google at my end with PSA McKinney..

By they way, I tried to reach Starla *** Customer Service Director, but her voice mail is full - another customer service fail. You have zero customer support on weekends the time when you need your leadership team on site to fix these major messes.

Overpaid team fee by $68 for 2019 Spring Outdoor Soccer for 1st Grade Boys. Kim Reichmuth and PSA staff not responded to my emails for refund/credit.
My 1st grade boys soccer team registered to play in the 2019 Spring Outdoor Soccer season at Plano Sports Authority (PSA). I have ten players on the team. The registration fee per player is $63, which totals $630. My team paid a total $698, $68 more than what we should have paid. I sent Kim Reichmuth, PSA Soccer League Coordinator, an email on Feb 5, 2019 and brought the overpayment to her attention and requested a credit/refund. No response. On Feb 6, 2019, I sent a second email to PSA's Soccer Director requesting for a response to my team's overpayment. No response. It's now Feb 25, 2019 and I still haven't received a response from any PSA representative concerning my team's overpayment. Today, Feb 25, 2019, I noticed PSA zeroed out my team's account balance so that it doesn't show a team overpayment.

Desired Outcome

If PSA can't refund, I can accept a credit on my account to apply for the next season.

Did not receive the services that were presented to us.
I signed my daughter up to play on an academy team and paid approximately 600.00. She played in three games which is why I have requested a partial refund however I cannot get in touch with Sandy the director of PSA, I have left 2 messages so far, and the director of the soccer club is who I have been having issues with and his lack of organization, professionalism, and lack of interest in what is best for the kids. He has used his position within the club to bully other coaches out of the club and I only signed my daughter up specifically because of the coach as did other parents. This coach in question has quit mid season due to the power trip the director, Lance, is on along with several other coaches. Lance has also pushed out other qualified coaches from the club and replaced them with less than qualified coaches because he did not get along with them personal and felt threatened by them. Also due to the lack of organization I was unable to get my daughter many practices because there were about 5-6 different locations as to where practice would be and we were only given a couple hours notice prior to some practices because Lance was not in communication with the coaches. Also on top of the 600 we paid to be in the academy we had to pay 120 for uniforms which was fine however we would not have even had the uniforms for our first game if it hadn't been rained out and we received the jackets and bags after we had already played several games. I am unsure if this was due to the shop at PSA or disorganization within the soccer club which is owned by PSA. Overall I did not receive the services that were presented to me at tryouts and when I signed my daughters contract which is why I have pulled her from the club and have been trying to request a partial refund, although I think a full refund is appropriate, but I am unable to get a hold of anyone within the organization to do so.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking either a full or at the minimum partial refund.

Hello my name is ***. PSA is blatantly ignoring the fact that our child's safety is not taken seriously. My son *** (7) sustained a concussion *** use to have 50-60 seizures a day that came out of nowhere. The doctor got it all taken care of and released him. He wanted to play basketball! After consulting his doctors we trusted PSA with our child's life) and they have purposely ignored our cry for help. The refs are untrained and in our experience ignore that our kids get hurt because our team is winning by 30+ points. The front desk tells us well y'all are winning what's the problem. We don't care about winning we care that are kids are safe. We don't get any calls/emails after we have complained of a hurt child at PSA facilities. I have Personally had parents/coaches come up to me threatening me trying to fight me and PSA does nothing for our safety. please email me at ***@gmail.com we Are consulting a lawyer tomorrow. We have complained for months about my son getting concussions and our players getting hurt bc of the refs ignoring the fouls. If our team is up by 30+ points we stand the chance of a paralyzed child because they stop calling for our kids. Note: we are 1st and 2nd graders playing at the top of our division and they are trying to make us play 3rd grade....(the physicality and goal height advantage is too much of a difference, but because we complain that is the way they think we will shut up) but moving us to 3rd grade puts us at risk for more injuries. PSAs are sponsored by these big name hospitals (Children's, Presbyterian, The medical center of Plano) and get money/sponsorship from holding concussion clinics, yet they don't respond or help us when our kids actually sustain concussions. Most of all they neglect to take measures to prevent these concussions by training the referees. Money grab at its finest! I have been attacked by parents, our kids have been attacked by adults and PSA won't do anything because we make noise and they don't like that. This has to STOP....But what do I know....I'm just a non paid coach and concerned parent, that fall on deaf ear! So I am done with not being heard! We need answers on what they are going to do. Our coach complained about an illegal player....so they took my son off the roster trying to say we were playing with an illegal player trying to discredit the fact that My son was hurt on their watch....in fact my son has been on the roster for 4 years.....They went in and altered the roster today...and when we showed the print out of him being on the roster it all of a sudden became an IT problem. BUT the coaches also had pictures of prior rosters for another situation that went unanswered....We believe they did it to cover up and not have to deal with yet another concussion or complaint from the Lil Warriors parents. They went in and took him off the roster BUT we had pictures of the rosters prior to our complaint...coincidence???? I complained and I ALWAYS complain about the safety and MY son mysteriously disappeared off the roster???? No....that's them trying to cover up and AGAIN ignore the fact that my son was hurt on Saturday at their facility....THEY DONT CARE ABOUT OUR KIDS SAFETY! We have a laundry list of things including defamation of my character with this facility with emails/evidence and parents that witnessed to back this up. In an email it says they are going to let everyone know about our encounters so they can watch. But it ends up being the refs take it as we are going to be a problem so they again call the game bad and unfairly causing injuries to our players. They tell us to let the front desk handle it. But they don't. They blow us off thinking we will go away. They have gotten to the point where they had their black staff member say "we are black, we have to be careful what we say and how we say it because we are seen as a threat" I'm sorry I don't buy that and when it comes to my kids safety and my kids I coach safety, I don't care how you see me especially if you are blowing it off and giving me a run around to see if I will just go away! They don't want to answer the parents so we turn to you for help, for answers. Most of all to get to the bottom of this safety issue! Please feel free to email me at ***@gmail.com or call me my number is:XXXXXXXXXX
Thank you in advance

PSA representatives misrepresented flag football game and practice locations and refused to refund the registration fees.
I registered my 5 year old son for flag football in Melissa, Texas. The person on the phone said he would be placed on a team where we could attend practices after 5 PM and games would be Plano. The practices were to be close to our home town in Melissa. When we were assigned a team, we discovered the practices were only in Plano at 4PM and there were not any options close to our home town as promised. After multiple emails and calls were left unreturned. We were able to speak to PATTY who said no one was calling us back because there is no refund and no exceptions. She said that the PSA Employee that told us practices could be elsewhere was wrong.

Desired Outcome

Full refund immediately.
