I would only recommended this company if you are not on any time frame If the work is not completed in the time they quoted, it is not a big to them No explanation was given to me as to why it took them two extra trips to my house to finish the jobNo communication by the workmen or the ownerDisappointed as I had used them before and had a good experience

The damage to her vinyl floor is not an installation error The corner that is lifting was not there when the installation was complete The vinyl is a floating floor and is subject to move The slit was not there either, it looks as if a knife was dropped and put the slit in the
floor, it directly in front of the kitchen sink There is no warranty on the vinyl floor because the vinyl flooring order was completed with damaged boxes and she was given much more flooring than need in rider to try and salvage some good pieces in the damaged boxes. The holes in the hardwood are up against the walls where the flooring had to be faced nailed. I told her that I would replace the vinyl if she was able to find it, it was m understanding that Lumber Liquidators was no longer charring that flooring Due to the fact we had try and make do with the damaged boxes.I do not feel that it is my responsibility to purchase more flooring to replace her damaged pieces becaus it was no fault of the installation I was willing to give up my time to help her, but not to willing to purchase more flooring . We are flabbergasted and will not repeat well documented issues anymore. There is clearly no attempt on contractor’s side to solve open issues in a productive and professional way. Contractor’s response is an attempt to deflect only. We did not nor do we ask for any futures ‘services’ from that contractor. By now, all we ask from the contractor is to provide detailed information about the stair treads installed: “Manufacturer? Dimensions? Material?, Place of Purchase?, Cost?”We are tired of it and are ready to purchase additional needed new material at our own expense and have those issues corrected by another party, without expense to theoriginal installing company, and expect to receive the requested info. This is our last offer to the contractor trying to resolve the stair issue in a professional manner.

At this time the business has cut all ties with the customer due to actions and behavior of the customer. The stair treads are installed correctly, but if he feels there is something wrong with them he just needs to take the measurements and provide that infomration to the next company he hires.

To Whom It Concerns,I don’t know how Revdex.com handles customer complaints. Hope those are actually read by a live person.Using Revdex.com’s contractor rating scale, we’d hired a flooring contractor with an A+ rating on your website. What a mistake!!!After weeks of completion delay with many open issues later as well as several attempts on our side trying to resolve open issue with contractor, we’ve finally filed a complaint with Revdex.com.Unfortunately, we find that Revdex.com is not of much help if a contractor refuses to admit mistakes and won’t correct them.I’m am appalled reading contractor claim of “customer behavior” made him leave worksite unfinished leaving and us with a serious safety issue.Behavior and money has never been the issue but lack of quality work!!I am a retired upper level business professional and never encountered anything like this in 45 years.I’m a Senior and feel like being “taken to the bank” by a contractor who doesn’t care about a written contract, customer or quality of work, but making a “quick buck”.We’ve been professional, patient and kind throughout the whole ordeal.I supplied tools whenever needed, twice paid lunch for the crew, provided safety gear and purchased/paid for additional material that contractor forgot.I’ve caught contractor twice trying to overcharge us by hundreds of dollar. We just now purchased six (6) new balusters to replace the ones ‘screwed up’ by contactor (his claim of only (1) one is incorrect).Contractor claimed that original mounting baluster plugs are not available separately and used that as reason to ‘rig up’ square plugs to mount into round holes. We had paid for original plugs and contractors ‘home made ones’ would not have been tight or save.As a matter of fact, all balusters as installed by contractor are lose and need to be redone. This is not just a visual issue but safety upstairs. We also purchased a 25 pack of original baluster mounting plugs for installation of our newly purchased baluster. What should have been the contractors responsibility, now adds up to additional cost for us.We will correct all issues without this contactors and only request to receive detail information about the installed stair treads to be able to purchase new ones.So far, contractor has been unresponsive to several of our email requests. We have never had to use the assistance of an attorney, but may have no choice? Please don’t hesitate to contact me if additional information is needed,Sincerely,

My experience with the company was very positive. The came in painted 6 nine foot high walls and a two storied wall in 2 days. They move the furniture, took the pictures off the wall and put everything back in place. They also installed a subway tile back splash in the kitchen in a day. All very positive.

Review: Plantation Flooring Inc., Jason G[redacted] who is the owner of this company was recommended to me by Lumber Liquidators in July of 2015 as an approved installation company for Lumber Liquidators. Jason G[redacted] installed my flooring in August 2015 (starting on 7/17/15 and completing on 7/19/15). On February 26, 2016, I contacted Jason with issues concerning my flooring. I have made numerous calls from 2/2016 to present 7/5/2016. Most calls he did not return but I was persistent so on May 3rd he finally came out to look at the issues. I have issues with my vinyl flooring and my hardwood floors. Jason asked me to check to see if the flooring still was in existence so I did and left him a text message on 5/5/2016 about availability and price. From May 3rd until today, I had not heard anything from him. When I called him today (7/5), he told me that he would not pay to replace the pieces of vinyl in my kitchen. There are pieces of vinyl that are lifting on corners and one piece has a slit in it. He did not apply correctly and should be his responsibility to replace without charging me. I also have holes in my hardwood floors from the way he applied the nails. This issue was recently discovered because I replaced my furniture in my living room. It was hidden because a large sofa was covering the holes. Plantation Flooring should take care of all of these issues.Desired Settlement: I expect all of these repairs to be completed at no charge to me.

Review: A signed contract stated a quality job with completion of 3-4 consecutive days of work. Work started April 1st and is still unfinished May 7th. In addition, substandard work with open issues occurred too (pictures and copy of contract are available on request).

Newly installed stair treads were making noise. Contractor had taken out existing stair treads and didn't install needed plywood underneath the lower stairs as support and to avoid flexing of treads. He did however install plywood underneath the upper stairs and those are fine. After providing ample time and opportunities to correct issues, a two (2) week notice was giving to finish the job be latest May 6th.

Although being made aware off in that same e-mail, contractor tried to use existing balusters and ‘work site made’ incorrect mounting plugs to install already cut short balusters. A square plug in a round hole doesn’t hold well and is certainly not quality work. Using too short baluster that barley are inside the holes of the handrails are not holding much of anything and can easily come out. In case a toddler would hold on to them going downstairs, serious injury or worse could be the result. Citing those issues, customer didn’t accept and asked for original mounting plugs to be used.

Contractor then was notified about incorrect billing, an overcharge of $429 and that customer would NOT pay for material not provided. Contractor left job site without finishing, stating that he won’t come back. At this stage, the open staircase (balusters are not installed) is a safety issue. Other issues need to be correct too.Desired Settlement: Since Plantation Flooring is unwilling to finish the job and apparently incapable of providing quality work as agreed on, customer may purchase additional material needed to finish the job. Plantation Flooring to pick up the bill for new material and time to finish the job either by another company or customers himself. Contractor not to demand another payment again, especially for something customer doesn't even owe them, as experienced before.
