In September, someone came in and made a payment with a credit card on this accountAs policy, we don’t require people show ID to pay a billNo customer proprietary network information from this account was released; a payment was merely accepted for the accountIn October, Plateau received a dispute and reversal from the credit card issuer for that payment, labeling it as “fraudulent”Accordingly, Plateau reversed the paymentIn his complaint, Mr [redacted] acknowledges he did not make the payment and does not know who didTherefore, he still owes the total amount dueTell us why here

When a person comes in to one of our offices to pay a bill, and they can provide a name and number, we allow them to pay that bill This is a common occurrence for people to bring in payments for others By the complainant's own admission, the person who paid this bill provided the name and number to OUR representative to identify the accountAlso, by his own admission, he indicates he is not disputing the bill he owes; he is only disputing that the payment HE didn't make has now been reversed Why someone would come in and pay a bill, then dispute the payment with their credit card company, is not something we can answer What we do know is the owner of the card disputed the chargeWhether or not that's the same person who used the card for this payment is not knownWe had no choice but to comply with the person whose money was on the line hereIf a bank were to credit an account with an amount that was in error, the accountholder would not be allowed to keep money that was not theirsTell us why here

Good morning,We have records of correspondence from Ms [redacted] during the time frame she references All of those relate to address changes only and not to discontinuance of serviceAlthough we have no record of a request for suspension of service prior to when it was disconnected in February, as a gesture of goodwill I have requested a check for three month's service ($112.32) be issued to Ms [redacted] Our Customer Care Manager has left her voicemail, but we have been unable to speak with her directlyPlease contact me if I can be of further assistance[redacted] ###-###-####

Between January and February 2015, several address changes were requested by Ms [redacted] on this account At no time was there a request to disconnect the account All correspondence has been via email The account was disconnected for non-payment on 2/12/On 2/19/15, one of our account representatives corresponded with Ms [redacted] via email and advised her we had no record of a request to disconnect previously; we only show she has requested address changes in the pastMs [redacted] indicated at that time she was trying to get caught up on her bills and it had been a rough year As a gesture of goodwill, a $credit was provided This account is now paid in full and permanently disconnected Unless and until we receive notice directly from Ms [redacted] that she would like the account reinstated, it will remain disconnected, per her wishes Please contact me directly at ###-###-####, if you have additional questions or require more information[redacted] Regulatory Manager

I am rejecting this response because: 1st of all the numbers do not match in the invoices! I would like all notes & recordings from building & corporate & in notes that we’re said in person that the one paying the bill was my girlfriendIn the fact the time it took to notify me that the payment that *** *** assured me on my 2nd payment that everything was good! Due to there negligence they put my account behind because I went in to pay in full before I lost my job when my so called gf had payed it! The woman who said it was my gf & looked out the window to see who was in my car was the one who assured me everything was legit! That the woman tried to pay online prior but wouldn’t go through so that’s why she went into the location! There is something shady in this transaction & I want all of it completely investigated so this NEVER happens again! I was told by the woman that the so called gf gave my phone number & my name to pay the billShe just doesn’t own up for her accountability in improper business practicesSo this is why I will keep rejecting until ownership of wrongdoing & bad business practices

I am rejecting this response because:Hello, I am back again. I still want a refund for summer of 2014 because (are you listening) I SWEAR TO GOD, I SWEAR ON MY SON, I SWEAR ON MY LIFE OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU NEED ME TO that I spoke to SOMEBODY the week before memorial day of 2014. My story hasnt changed at all in over a year and I'm not sure why there's no record of the conversation but I swear to you on EVERYTHING that it existed. I asked the lady if I could suspend my account for the summer because I didnt have a job and I would be gone all summer. She asked me to give my account info and phone number and she would call me the next day, a couple days later I contacted her again and she was on vacation. That following monday I left on my summer trip and I never heard from her again but I thought the situation had been resolved....I was disappointed when I came home to a huge bill that I wasnt even around to charge. I thought it had been taken care of. I wish I had kept those messages, but I didnt think I needed to at the timeI want my money back for last summer. Stop being cheap. I never had a problem with you for 6 years - my bills weren't late until I started having financial issues (before that it was a mail issue. At the berrendo apt, I never got my mail). I am not a liar and have no reason to lie, and like I said, I swear on EVERYTHING that I talked to SOMEONE the week before memorial day weekend of 2014.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank you for finally refunding me a whole year later, and I still stand behind that I talked to someone, so I don't know if y'all got hacked or that person left the company/got fired, but as I said, I swear on everything it happened, and I had witnesses :). I got the check the other day, so thanks again. For the record, in 6 years, I never had any other problems with your company, and I am sorry this issue even existed.
