Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: we were told at purchase, there was NO deductable, if we used thier garage for warranty workThe $deductible was only if we used another garage or was out of State and ran into problemsI can't help it if they no longer employe the Sales Manager who told us this at purchaseIf they want to try to make me and my husband out as di***nest, Shame on themIf we knew they were going to treat us in such a manner we would of bought somewhere elseI will tell all my family and friends to stay clear of there bad business practices.

fact. They also traded a 2009 [redacted] Pickup in on this vehicle they purchased which Platinum Auto paid off for them as part of the deal in the amount of $19,79931 to [redacted]. This was paid off on July 2, 2015.On or about July 7th 2015 Platinum Auto received a ph. call about the transmission going out of the truck in Missouri while they were towing a large trailer hauling their personal belongings to Virginia where they informed us they were moving. We then explained to them that they purchased the vehicle "as is" with no warranty. We offered an extended warranty to them at the time of the sale but they refused to take that option. They have been calling and threatening us on multiple occasions since that time with attorneys ect.On the truck they traded in and we paid off for them they have refused to sign the title or the Power of Attorney so we can get the title transferred properly which is illegal. We have called and requested this on multiple occasions with no cooperation on their part. The truck they traded has since been sold and we now are put in a position by these people to unwind this deal because they will not give us the title that we paid over $19000 for. It is unfortunate that they have this issue with the transmission, but clearly they knew there was no warranty of any kind on this truck when they purchased it, and then they declined the opportunity to get the extended warranty that was offered. Thomas J K[redacted] Owner: Platinum Auto
