I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My business partner, *** ***, gave Ray a page document with pictures of items that needed addressed (see Punch list items from the software, Snag List, Ray requested we use.) All requests were written, had accompanying pictures and problematic areas circled. *** emailed Ray, pointing out the poor quality of the workmanship. (see Nov email) We called Ray back numerous times to make repairs, but he never repaired the shoddy workmanship and downright mistakes we had pointed out (attachments A, Parkway finish pictures). We inspected the house each time after Ray and his crews were there. Not once were even 50% of the repair items addressed. We called and emailed Ray to point out what still needed done. After I inspected the house on Nov 15, after his fourth call back to make repairs, he said all punch work items were completed. I inspected the house, and sadly noticed very little had been done. Ray then asked my business partner, *** ***, to tell me to place blue dots on all the errors. I sent him an email stating my strong dissatisfaction with the lack of his fixing what we asked for, in writing.. I declined to place blue dots. I attached more pictures (attachments B & B-1). Ray sent workmen back yet again, and told us everything was done on Nov 27. I inspected the house, and it looked like no changes had been made since the last time they had been there. I sent him an email, stating my extreme dissatisfaction with the workmanship and how the shoddy finish was severely hindering my selling efforts. I also sent pictures to Ray (Attachment C and C-1) in hopes that he would finally fix the problems. He abandoned the project, stating he would not come again to repair defects he never addressed until we paid him the full disputed amount (attaachment D). I never said he couldn't come back. He is not owed this money, and we are left with a property we have had to make numerous repairs to because Ray abandoned it, and there is more work yet to be done. I keep dropping the price because of the terrible feedback I'm getting from other agents regarding the finish quality. After Ray's crews left on Nov 27th, they raised the heat to degrees, then left the back door to the house wide open for anyone to walk in. They also defaced my sign. After this happened, I asked a minister friend of mine to stay at the house when Ray's crews were attempting to fix things. In regards to his overcharging us, neither my partner had any communication about the disputed amount until he presented us the last bill (see attachment D). I will rate him, personally, and his company an "F", and intent to recoup the lost money we have spent
