late response (due per above 9/23)The complaint went to the wrong location and finally reached the professional fee pathology practice yesterday (9/29/15)
To respond to the complaint, it appears CPPMG billing followed all the correct stepsThe primary insurance, Blue Cross was billed and after payment was received, Medicare was billed for the remaining balancesMedicare paid their portion of the claim in February There was small co-pay left after Medicare paidMs *** then received three statements on 3/6/15, 4/21/and a final notice sent 6/5/for the remaining balance of $Each of our statements provides the patient with a customer service phone number, as well as on line access to the accountMs ***, according to our comments, did not contact us and so finally on 7/the account automatically was sent to collections
I contacted the collection agency to discuss their fees which amounted to $
If Ms *** wants to call me to discuss this account I would be glad to talk to her
