Burnette-Chalk Architecture did excellent work as our architect in the planning and oversight of a major renovation of our house in 2015-2016. The renovation was extensive, involving not only a new kitchen and three new bathrooms, but also a total rewiring of the house, replacement of the entire plumbing system, installation of a geothermal system, and raising the floor in three rooms from a slab to a level that matched the rest of the house. K. Burnette met with us several times to discuss various aspects of the renovation, and once the renovation began, he supervised all work on our behalf (we were out of the country for most of the renovation work). Since the house is older, we faced many challenges in updating the house without losing its charm or character; [redacted] approached the work with creativity and gave us wonderful solutions.
