I am rejecting this responseI disagree that they clearly post their return policyThey clearly state money back guarantee without an asterisk or any other notation to indicate additional information that explains that they charge a 20% restocking feeTheir restocking fee is well hidden as I already explained in my submissionBy reading *** reviews, I see they have caught quite a few people that were unaware of the restocking fee, and it's not noted at all on their *** listing. I also disagree that they promptly issued a refundI had to contact them times to get the address to make the return I had to contact them after they had the return for a week, and then they finally issued the partial refund.I am just glad I didn't purchase one of their more expensive lights.If they were a decent company they would have changed their website to indicate that there is a restocking fee when they mention money back guarantee to provide buyers with full disclosure.BUYER BEWARE!!!

On 9/12/16, Mrs*** purchased a light directly from our website which was promptly shipped and received in perfect conditionThis was a new, unopened and very expensive piece of electronic equipmentAfter receiving the unit, it was opened and put into use Regardless of the time of use
with the unit, it has now been opened, unsealed and usedWe're now dealing with a very expensive electronic item that has had its value diminished due to this use.Mrs*** contacted us on 9/22/and stated that she wished to electively return the opened unit for a refund which we promptly authorized The unit was received on 9/28/and a full refund minus a standard 20% restocking fee was processed on 10/4/16.While we openly allow any of our customers to electively return one of our units for a full 90-day period of time, it is our clearly stated policy that a 20% restocking fee will be charged for any and all elective returns.Our complete warranty and return policy is clearly stated on our website under the warranty terms and conditions found here: https://platinumgrowlights.com/warrantyIt's very important to note that while a large majority of electronics companies will not accept any returns whatsoever on any used items, we do in fact offer this as a service to our customersWe are however forced to charge a restocking fee to help defer the costs of diminished value on our very expensive electronic itemsIn addition to this diminished value, there are also the costs of shipping, warehousing, receiving and inspection all of which incur added and undeserved costs to any business.It is for this reason that not only is a 20% restocking fee commonplace with any company that accepts a return, but is even written into 3rd party ecommerce website refund policies such as those stated ***.com to whom Mrs*** refers to.For comparison, please refer to the ***.com restocking fee policies found here: *** ***While it's unfortunate that Mrs*** is upset with not only our policies but those that are standard within any retail transaction, it should be noted that we have made every effort to accommodate her according to our policiesThis is a case of a customer that is upset with a standard return policy of a very expensive and now used electronic device
