Good morning, As we discussed yesterday, I was happy to photo ? the tires and summit the claim to have the tires inspected for any warrantyI asked had he rotated the tires he replied, NoHe has been according to him 10k miles on the tiresI only made him aware that the tire company would ask for a record for the tires being rotatedThe suspension ? being altered also may affect their decisionWe are here to help and do not mind to summit pictures for him of the tiresIn the event if they do decline his warrantyWe were willing of course to give tires at cost and another alignment at no chargeThat's where that comment came fromThere are many factors that affect tire wearSummiting a claim is easy to do if he would like? to do thatWe are here to help assist.? ? ?

So I went here to get my ball joints, power steering line, idler pulley and tension pulley replacedI get a call back after dropping it off that it would be 1700$Not having another option I told them to fix it because it was not drivableI also signed up for some easy payment plan because I just didn't have 1700$ to pay for itWhen I asked the lady what the interest was she said it was free for the first months and wasn't really sureWhen I got back to the shop to pick up my truck the next evening after I was promised it would be done early or morning or the previous evening, I signed the paper work for the payment plan and realized it was 189% interest on a month planIf that wasn't enough they never performed an alignment so my truck and steering wheel shook all the way homeI lived in this town all my life and people talk, there is definitely a problem with these people as they are just looking for a pay day, I assume ***My advice is to stay away!!!!!!!!

I took my vehicle in to get state inspected and they replaced my wiper blades without my permissionIn fact I told them they where just replacedMy vehicle mileage is 3-4k a year and I try not to drive in the rain so I doubt if the olds ones where even used or broken inIt would be interesting to see how many inspections get new wipers?? I can get my wipers changed at any retailer for less than half of what they chargedBe careful when getting service hereI'm thinking of filing a claim with the Revdex.com for other outrages overcharges including a $shop supply chargeNever heard of anything like that before

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and yes we are aware that the truck needs further electrical diagnostic. When the truck left all repairs parts and labor were and still are under warranty for 12 mth 12k miles, the truck ran fine for per cust 3 weeks after wards that tells us that we...

repaired the issue but something is causing this , he brought the truck back ... Yes we did tell him to have an electrical shop / dealer to look at it and see what electrically could be causing the issue. [redacted] has been told several times that all our work is guaranteed, even if a part fails due to his electrical issue his part is still covered under this clause. This unpaid bill must be paid, then he can possibly get a refund or a warranty if the dealer finds that something we have repaired has went bad. We can not resolve this issue until the bill is paid and he takes to dealer for that electrical issue he has been advised about. Hopefully, we can resolve this issue when he finds out electrically what has caused this problem. We  take great pride in customer satisfaction and will be waiting for him to settle the bill and follow up with us through the dealer to advise us if we need to refund anything on our part.

Finding a good mechanic is good but finding a great mechanic is rare well Platinum Plus auto repair is rare. Their customer service is outstanding and the work they performed on both my vehicles is below excellent. They don't try to make you get repairs that is not needed on your vehicle and they know their stuff. If you want your car fixed correctly the first time and with a smile go to Platinum, their service definitely reflects their name.

The negligence I experienced was HORRIBLE! This place seems nice, but its a big rip off... I got repairs done to my car Jan. 29th (control arm w/ bushing, power steering, stabilizer link) 2 days later the car started making this crazy noise, I called them first was told to bring it in, hours later they called saying we found the problem and you just need to pay a few $. The day after I noticed the noise again, called again and was told come back, when I got there they said "you need motor mounts & that will stop the noise" a week later I got the mounts, they installed them. The very next day after I picked up the car, I got off the highway and the entire driver front fell off and caused me to lose control barely missing a pole. So I got the car towed to their shop because by now I've paid them over $700 & don't really have much more $$ to keep replacing the same parts, not to mention now I have major body damage... On Monday they called me stating the part I bought was defective and that I would have to buy another and this time a ball joint(which I wasn't told about before) so I bought the parts took it to them to install, they did, I picked the car up the next day the manager Tanya says, "we got it fixed this time, we tested it and its good to go and you have to pay $$$"...Now I'm pissed because they didn't care, but I went ahead and paid. The next evening I'm on the way to work and heard a noise so instead of getting off on the highway I turned back around and was going back the their shop. Five minutes away the car starts spinning and again the same side falls off and the car comes to a stop on the axle barely missing a guy stand near his vehicle. I was so distraught so I just started crying until the guy came to me...then I called Tanya, and told her, she sent the mechanic, when he gets there before he gets out of his truck he says " that's the ball joint, it stripped out of the control arm" he never acknowledged me then proceeded to call the tow truck. Towed the car back to there place, Tanya says "if you got the parts from us this would be taken care of" again blaming the parts... Then after the tow truck leaves she tells me "you got to pay the towing company $75" I just cried telling her I didn't have any more money because I've paid them over $1400 to fix the same this more than 2xs & I would have to see what I could do and also that my car was so damaged on... I'm saying this, people please please be careful, don't take your car here, not only did I almost lost my life, I was inches away from taking someone else's life. Sorry so long but I just wanna make people aware, and there prices are RIDICULOUS! Just be cautious please!

Review: I was charged to 1500 hundred dollars to get my truck fixed. When they verbally told me the price I was unable to pay that amount. Then they told me if I pay 450 dollars for part of the repairs but I would not be able to drive it far. So I waited to save money to get all the necessary repairs for the vehicle. I told them that my truck has been to 3 different shop and a keep paying money for the same thing and if they can not fix it do not work on it. The said they were able to fixed the problem. So they worked on the vehicle and supposedly fixed the problem It was fixed now pay later and I paid a portion of the bill and they was deducting money out of my count. My truck ran for two and a half weeks and stopped and started doing the same thing they supposed fixed. So they told me to take it to Ford and let them diagnosis it and bring it back because they don't have the right equipment to find out what is wrong. I told them they should have told me this at the start. So I stopped the withdraw from my account and they came and took my truck from my apartment.Desired Settlement: I want my truck back and we can call it even because the truck is still not running

Review: I purchased four brand new tires. I after one month I noticed (Dec. 4th) the front two tires were worn out on the inner side of the tires. I notified platinum plus immediately. They told me to bring it in so I drove from Fredericksburg (where I work) to Hopewell arriving at 4 (2 hours before close) on Dec 11 for them to tell me that they were backed up and I had to drop it off so they could check it out. I explained to them that was an inconvenience to me I only had one car and that I worked in Fredericksburg and the milage would only increase and I didn't want to take the chance of voiding any warranty I was told that I had a year warranty on labor, just bring the vehicle back. I took my vehicle to another shop in the mean time just for them to inspect the work/alignment I received a print out of the alignment whereas the toe is spec. at -.10 degrees to .30 degrees my vehicle is at -1.40 degrees hence the explanation why both the tires are wearing on the inner sides. I managed to take off work and come back a week later on Dec. 21 only to be asked to buy four more new tires with free alignment. They never even looked at the vehicle. This could have been done the first time I drove from work on Dec 11. The only action that was offered for the loss of wages from work, brand new tires, and alignment improperly done the first time was another alignment for free and tires at cost (not even prorated).Desired Settlement: For them to take responsibility.
