Everyone's question is...how is this company still in business Answer is American Home ShieldOur AC stopped working in early June and we contacted our home warranty company They sent out Platinum Repair and that's when our nightmare started The man got to my home and I couldn't understand a word he said plus had the worlds worst b.oissueStated that there was a leakWill come back another day to see where the leak is at Second visit found leak and the leak is in the condenser Need to submit for an approval Third visit never showed upFourth visit showed up an hour after scheduled time (4pm-8pm) and showed up almost at 9pm!!!! This is all within almost months of submitting the claim with American Home Shield We live in CA inland empire area and our weather has been 95+ the entire summer Wanted to charge extra for a unit that was not necessary but recommended and stated they'd call us back to see what they can do No call from [redacted] nor American Home Shield Finally called American Home Shield and requested another service company and they stated since [redacted] repair had the condenser unit they would have to finish the job Scheduled yet another repair day and receive a call hours after they were suppose to be here stated that they had to cancel the service call because the condenser was returnedBut had good news though, they were able to upgrade me to a newer unit but would have to set up an appointment for thatDidn't know how much but they would let me know after they come over and measure We started in June and it's almost October and nothing has been done The reason this company stays in business is by hiding behind other companies and doing all their contract work NEVER DEAL WITH [redacted] NOR AMERICAN HOME SHIELD Consumers beware
