Platos Closet is the worst place to work and shop! The franchisees are rude and have no idea on how to run a businessA select few of the employees are actually nice and helpful I would NEVER work there, from experience, they hold checks on your last day whether you quit, got fired or put in a week noticeThis isn't stated in the employee handbook eitherThe franchisees pay little and work you way too muchThey can never keep an employee there with the way they treat peopleThis is NOT a gooday business to go to

Thank you for your follow up on this matter. I did want to note that I erred in my original complaint by stating that my daughter was told the business would not call when she dropped the clothes off; upon reading my original complaint, she clarified with me that she was not told by the business about this provision until, after not hearing from them, she called the business to ask if they had decided how much to offer for her clothes. I did not examine the company's website until after we had an issue with the company, so we were unaware of the company's 72-hour rule.
The company representative did send the gift card, letter, and a copy of what my daughter signed in the store. There is fine print that states it is the customer's responsibility to contact the business within hours. My daughter said that she had not read the fine print because she was being rushed by the rude clerk, so we emphasized the importance of reading ALL fine print before signing any form of a contract, regardless of the circumstances. I am still not pleased that a minor was allowed to sign such a contract involving the dollar amount in question (I wasn't aware that this was even legal in our state), then was not given a copy of the contract at the time of signing, which we could have reviewed as parents -- these basic procedures should not only be considered standard "good business practice," they also would have prevented a lot of confusion and consternation on the part of all parties involved
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. The business has performed this action, thus I will consider this complaint resolved

I'm very sorry for your horrible experience in our storeOur procedure is as the website states, we ask customers to fill out a couple forms, then process the buy, once the buy has been processed this is when the printed offer
is readyWe typically give a time frame when customers drop off, again I'm sorry if we didn't follow through on thisWe offer a same day service so each buy typically only takes 10-minutes for us to process, then depending on the amount of people who have dropped off ahead of you the time may be a little longerUnfortunately due to the mass volume of items brought in daily we only have storage to keep items up to days, then we write a check for any items we were able to purchase, and the others are donated to one of two ministries, either *** or *** ***This information is on the white sheet we have each customer fill out and sir, I will attach a copy of your daughters sheetAgain I'm extremely sorry for the confusion, our being short with you and your family, and that you didn't feel you received the best serviceI would be happy to give your daughter a Plato's gift card to help make up for some of the frustration and confusionMy wish is that you would be willing to give our location a second try, but if not there is a location on each side of town and the gift cards are good at all of themThank you, *** *** Plato's Closet Manager 317-271-

We called Besco Air because we needed a new furnace They were very accommodating and Jim came out the next morning
Jim was very knowledgeable and friendly He took the time to assess our home and review our furnace options He answered all of our questions and concerns and made sure we understood our options in selecting the proper furnace that would provide the best maximum efficiency for our home
The two technicians that came out to install the new furnace were very professional and friendly We feel they did a superior job The furnace was installed in one day and they took great care when hauling out the old mammoth furnace Nothing was damaged and they cleaned up after themselves They made every effort to make sure we were happy with their work
We were pleasantly surprised when Jim followed up a few days later He stopped by to assess the new furnace installation and to make sure everything was running properly
We are happy with our new furnace! The quality of work done and superb customer service can't be beat!

The owner of the company is RUDE NASTY and the MOST unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with in my entire lifeShe threatened to have my car picked up if I didn't have my payment in the following day when my payment was already in the mail and it was due on the 15th and she would pick it up on the 17thShe has absolutely NO customer service skills and I feel bad for her employeesI cant imagine how she speaks to them if she deals with her customers the way she did with meI tried more than once to speak with her and have a civilized conversation and all she did was yell over talk me and hang up the phone

Hi Team, According to the standard verification procedure our company follows, we have to verify a transaction made for a third party i.e when a purchase has been made for a person other then the Credit card holder Here it is mentioned about SSN but we never ask for SSN , we do
confirm about Card details , billing address ,CVV provided,Billing phone number etcSSN has no relevance to us and is against our company policies to ask forIn order to authenticate a third party transaction, we send out a payment verification link via FraudFax on which a soft charge of less than a $is made to the card provided (The amount is reversed within hours.) The card holder is supposed to check the random amount charged either with the bank or through net banking and verify it via the link provided. Additionally, whenever a reservation is booked, an acknowledgement email is sent out However, that is not the final confirmationThis is mentioned in the terms and conditions and also send on the same confirmation email with the booking codeFlight availability and prices are never guaranteed until ticket issued,i.e, quoted amount charged from provided credit card and Airline receives tickets priceSimilar verification procedure was followed on this booking as wellA verification link had been sent to the customer which was supposed to be verified and submitted onlineWithout fulfilling the procedure, the system does not allow to confirm the booking.Here in this case it was never verified by Credit card holder onlineA reminder email was also sent the next day to complete the verification step as we understand that the procedure sometimes may not be fulfilled on same day by the customerThe booking was on 12/09/,03:PM however on 12/11/,12:AM booking got cancelled automatically and a cancellation email had been sent out by the system. A reservation cannot be held beyond a certain time frameSince the procedure was not fulfilled, the provided fare had expired and booking was cancelled.
