Don't shop at Platte Floral this is what happened
.EXTORTION! called me after purchase to get more money!?!
I usually don't leave reviews unless it's good I prefer praise over punishmentBut today I was SHOCKED at what they did

I went looking for several tall, large plants for our lobby at our businessI found a beautiful tall sheflera plantAs you know they're not cheapSo I asked an employee if I could get a better dealShe said to talk to another person but I left to find out from my boss if we could spend $He said try to get it for less, so I went back looking for the person to askOnly one person was there and she didn't knowSo I said I would just BUY IT AT FULL PRICE could she please have some one help load it ( I had to leave work and borrow a truck ONLY FOR TODAY) She went in the back and talked to someone and came back "Good news we'll do $AND we'll deliver it." I said "Great!" PAID FOR IT, arranged for delivery and went back to workThen I get a phone callShe said we need more money or I CAN'T HAVE IT!!!! WHAT??? I already bought itSo when I went back I asked (calmly and politely) to please speak to the ownerWhen he came out he didn't want to shake my hand when I introduced myself ( even thought I've been shopping there for YEARS.) and He said he could'nt talk to me he had a phone callI tried to tell him what happened but he refused to listen to my side of what happened and blamed ME for "playing the employees" WHAT?????

I've been using Platte Floral personally and professionally for years. Their incredible staff makes buying flowers an easy process. For a guy who doesn't know much about flowers they've always kept me looking good whether for my wife, clients or get well occasions.
