Date: 8/17/15The family toured the center with me, the Center Director, on July 21stWe toured both young toddler roomsShe enrolled on July 22nd and requested her son be placed with several other children that were also planning to move here from their previous centerAs the Summer months are
our biggest enrollment period, we evaluated the available spaces, and to accommodate her request of being placed with the other new children we placed all of the children in room 8, not knowing that Mom had a classroom preferenceThe child and his father came in for a Getting To Know You meeting on the morning of July 30thOur Administrative Assistant, introduced them to the teachersAt no time did the father raise concern about the classroom or his child’s placementThat evening the mother emailed me asking if she could return the next afternoon with her sonThey came at 3:on July 31stI walked them to the classroom and introduced the teachers againDuring the time I was upstairs the teachers were going about their routines changing diapers, feeding snack, and playing with the childrenFrom my observation, the child was comfortable in the classroom, and they were doing a nice job including him in playThe family was set to begin on August 3rd at 10amWhen he did not arrive by 10:we called to see if he was feeling okWe left a message and received no return callWhen our accounting office informed me that she had requested a full refund, that request was approvedI called and informed Dad that the refund was being processed on August 10th.Kate BCenter Director
