Playdates party rooms and packages are typically booked on line and a deposit is required depending on the amount of party package that will be due These deposits arrange from $50-$depending on the size of the party package chosen She decided to book the party in the facility and when she booked with the employee we always recommend to start with lower number cause easier to add children She ended up paying for the party for a deposit in cash.! This left the ticket open so the day of the party when the balance was paid we can adjust up to two cause the ticket was still open However, she came in with her brother who wanted to pay the balance of the party for kids My employee explained are you sure you want to pay the balance because this will close the ticket and be unable to reopen the ticket to make any adjustments when typically a deposit is applied and we can go into an OPEN ticket after party concludes and adjust up to two children She said no my brother is paying for the balance and we are going to have children and I want it to be paid in full This was handled by an employee that wasn't present the day of the actual party I was not aware she had her brother come in and pay in full and close the ticket The employee said a new ticket can be opened to add children but we can not open a party room ticket for refund cause this will not allow for closeout reports to match for accounting purposes She continued to say, " no my brother is paying half, I want to pay in full we will have kids the day of the party The day of the party kids showed up I was not aware she had come back and paid the party in full So when she approached me to adjust up to two I said let me take a look at your ticket That's when the assistant manager informed me the ticket was closed and I then said that's why we can't adjust cause you had paid the party in full and chose to do so and that closed the ticket not allowing me to do any adjustments I tried to explain that being able to adjust an open ticket is ok cause money has not been deposited and closed and can adjust to the balance that is due on a current OPEN ticket and this will NOT affect the balancing of the drawers She even asked if I can try to adjust a strangers ticket behind her so she could receive the cash off the strangers ticket behind her We offered her gift certificate on the amount of two children 2Xplus tax and she accepted at first then she refused the gift certificates I offered in good faith She refused to even take them with her but I have them on file at the playground My staff went above and beyond to help her child have the Birthday experience she wanted They even helped hang the piñata and had to spend extra time cleaning the room cause is looked like several sodas were spilled on the floor I am available anytime to discuss further .Kind Regards, [redacted] Playdates Indoor Cafe and PlaygroundPresident
