We followed up with Ms. [redacted] on August 17th just to confirm.

on 9-13-2013 I was sold a defective xbox360 slim ac adapter and the company will not refund, exchange or repair in a reasonable amount of time.On 9-13-2013 I purchased one xbox360 slim ac adapter from the location. upon returning home it was discovered to be defective. The following business day, 9-16-2013, I returned with the product and was told that the manager would be in on 9-18-2013 and I would receive a call. the employee, [redacted], observed the issue and agreed that it was defective. I did not receive a call and arrived in person late afternoon to resolve the issue. the manager, [redacted], observed the product and agreed that it was defective. I was told they did not have another item in stock and to hold onto my defective product until they had another arrive that they could exchange for me. On Friday, 10-11-2013 I returned to the location to attempt to resolve the matter. I spoke this time with [redacted] He received the defective unit and gave me a repair receipt and I was told I would receive a call on Monday, 10-14-2013. I never received a call. On 10-22-2013 I returned to the location requesting a refund. I have never received and single phone call or letter from the company to update the situation at any time. According to the Sale of Goods Act they have failed to exchange or repair the defective unit within a reasonable amount of time and I would like a refund.Desired SettlementA full refund of $64.04

Review: I have went to Play n trade in Garfield NJ back in March 2014. I have traded in games toward the purchase of South Park game which was not in stock. The store clerk said he would order the game and call me when it came in. A few days went by and I went to see if the game came in and the store was closed and out of business. I spoke with a customer service rep at this local and they told me they got in touch with the owners and that the owners would get back to me. Weeks went by and nothing. In the mean time I have bought the game. I got in touch withn this play n trade again at [redacted] the same person I spoke with before and sent her the reciept stating that the games I traded in was worth $64.00. She said if the owners didn't reimburse me that they would. I have emailed them several times since than saying I want the money for the games I traded in I even got in contact with their website and left a message with no response. I didn't know stores could take your items promise you the money owed you and not pay what is owed. I will NEVER deal with this company again.Desired Settlement: Just want the $64.00 that is owed to me for all the games I traded in to play n trade
