Review: Store employees are not properly fitting shoes for children and the store refuses to exchange the shoe: I purchased a pair of $80 sneakers for my 8 year old son on 11/2/2013 at Players. I called the store on 11/3/2013 and left a message on the store's machine asking for a return call to discuss an exchange because my son has been complaining about the shoe. Further, I live an hour from the store. No one returned my phone call placed on 11/3/2013. I called the store again on 11/4/2013 and asked for a store manager. I spoke with "[redacted]" and we discussed that my child is 8 years old and this is our 5th pair of sneakers from this store that does not fit properly. [redacted], spoke to me in an unprofessional tone (cursed me out) and hung up on me, rather than assisting with resolving my issue. I let the manager know that I would be reporting them to the Revdex.com and he said he did not care. My issue: when a child is in the store and a parent asks for them to be fitted for a shoe, the store is the expert. It is my expectations that employees are properly trained at fitting and recommending shoes for a certain type of foot. My key points are that the store should be making recommendations, fitting properly, and should assist children and parents. Rather, I was sold the most expensive shoes and my son was encouraged to wear the shoes out the store, which guarantees that they are worn. This is highly unacceptable and something needs to be done. Please see below for my desired outcome.Desired Settlement: I initially asked the store for an exchange. After being treated unfairly, I am asking for a full refund because I do not feel comfortable patronizing their business ever again.

I am rejecting this response because: As displayed in the response letter, the store is rude and unprofessional. I am not a liar and by calling a customer more than a customer says a lot about how you value the people who patronize your business. My husband 's family owns a business in the city and thus why that business is used when in the city. I manage many employees globally, have attained a MBA, and have no need to lie over $80. The point I am making is that you should treat everyone fairly and as you can tell you hung up and disrespected the wrong one. I called in a professional manner asking for a resolution. If your store is not willing to address me in a professional manner, rather, cursing me out and hanging up on me, I have no choice but to go through the Revdex.com. For me to even take time to file this complaint says volumes about how disrespected I felt. Obviously, by calling the store the next day, it meant I have a problem and needed the store to know straight away so you didn't think my son walked around in the sneakers. This is my first complaint via the Revdex.com. I do not make returns as I frequent stores that provide great customer service. I do not have time to walk around making purchases only to make returns, that makes no sense. I have no further comments and I do not plan on going back and forth with this store.
