I had a really bad experience with another pool company called *** *** and playwell pools came to my home and made it right .you couldn't ask for better people they are the most honest and reliable people I have ever known the quality of work is incredible my pool turn out beautiful thanks to playwell poolsif you are looking for quality and honesty and piece of mind call playwell poolsI personally would not trust no one else but them
I had a pool put in and it's been the worst experienceI have continued to ask the company to fix what needs to be doneI still have pavers without sand , some aren't even put in properlyAlso I have a hole in my surface and my waterfall continues to get cloggedI was told numerous times to use a butter knife to unclog itThey told me the would fill in the pavers and now are telling me they will do it for $1;per paverIm assuming as a customer that was included in the price
As a client have been treated poorly and accused of not having the money to pay himI gave them my final check on July 22nd and today the 4th of September my pool is incomplete
The company did not stick to their word and finish the job
Improper installation of New Deck,Tile and SkimmerCompany made commitments and has not lived up to them
Signed contract to replace damaged Concrete Deck,Skimmer,Tile and resurface Interior on March 26,
Project was completed by Playwell's interpretation approxJuly 7,
The new Skimmer is installed above the Shell Wall which lead to the new Deck pour being higher than the existing Decks they were matching to.Tile is not Level and Leaks in several places
Discussions with Don G*** and his written agreement to come back in Nov-Dec didn't take placeI called him and had a meeting with of his Associates in late Dec who indicated the repair was more than he was lead to believeHe said he would have to get Don out here to go over it
Don eventually made it to the House and we discussed repairs being done before the end of March
I left Don a Voice Mail on March 9, and have yet to hear back from him
As I see it, the only proper fix is to replace the deck,skimmer an

We hired Playwell Pools Jan 9, to Resurface our pool, add a concrete deck and skip trowel the new and existing deck We paid $12,265, that's including a $discount The Sales Rep/Owner is Don Glenn We made payments of $2,and a final payment of $2,189, all paid by checks
Mar 16, we reported to Playwell Pools our first issue with the deck skip trowel A small section had broken off and we requested a repair He made the repair on Mar 21,
Mar 31, we reported another issue with the deck skip trowelDon replied back that he would take care of it on Mar 2, Sometime between Mar 2, and May 2, my parents were contacting him trying to get him to either compensate us for poor product/workmanship or refund us a portion of the total cost
May 2, Don text me informing me that his deck guy was fired and that he has been trying to replace him
We are very disappointed with the quality of work and the service we received when having our pool resurfaced and deck redoneWe had our pool resurfaced in November of Playwell Pools came out and gave us a great estimate and we spent a good bit of time talking through the process and the planGoing into the project we felt very confident and excited to work with Don and CindyWe tried to explain that the speed of the project was not an issue to us but it was important that we have clear communication so that we were aware of what to expectThis is where things went wrong, communication was far from clear from the day we handed them our first checkThe quality of the work was less than expected and commuicatetdThe tile that was installed is crooked and chipped and not lined up well, the deck texture had issues with peeling, they broke the screen door handle and when I called to let them know they came back and replaced the wrong handleThere seemed to be one issue after the other with the whole projectWe tried to be very understanding but at the end things were getting a bit old and we were ready to be doneWe received one estimate in the very beginning and as things were added or changed we never received another bill or invoice of any kindI would receive a text whenever they wanted the money and that was itAt the end of the project the foreman on the job, that we were told to communicate with all through the process, apologized and told us to take $300-$off of what we owed because the part he had gotten to finish the project wasn't right and he would come back next week to finishHe felt bad and offered the extra cash off because of all of the issues we were experiencingWe respected that and felt that was good business and fairWe took the $off the top and wrote the final check, happy to be done with the projectA few weeks later we hear from the owner, Don, asking for the $that we still owed himWe were confused and called to explain and let him know that we thought we were paid in full based on the amount we owed minus the $Don proceeded to tell us that his foreman did not have the authority to tell us that and that we owed him the moneyWe tried to explain that we didn't have any bills or invoices or any type of anything to go off of and because he told us to go through John we didn't feel it was fair to go back on his wordAt that point we decided to finish painting the deck ourselves and be done dealing with PlaywellHowever, before we could even do that, the deck was chipping up around the new jets they installedWe took pictures and talked with Don and he told us that without the $we "owed" he would not fix the workWe tried asking for an invoice to which he didn't have to showAt that point many unkind things were said from Don about my wife and myself and we decided it would be better to do the work ourselves or to hire another company to do it rightWe are very disappointed in the quality of the finish work and also the way we were treated by Don.
