Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]There would appear to be two differences between Bill's Power Center and me:1. I acknowledge that Bill's Power Center has a "no returns policy". My point is that is not disclosed at the time of sale and I would argue that, upon being sold a defective product, that the consumer has a reasonable expectation of the ability to return/exchange the item. I was never told, at the time of purchase, of the policy; it is mentioned on an invoice that was put in the product manual and I did not see until afterwards. The primary purpose of contacting the Revdex.com was to encourage the business to be more forthcoming in letting customers know their policies.2. The business asserts that there are no current problems with the lawn mower, specifically:     a) That the damage to the finish is "water spots". This is incorrect - I know what water spots are. The lawn mower did have some water spots because I rinsed it off before transporting it in my car back to the business. I did not complain about those. I specifically showed the business where the paint and finish under the carburetor was discolored and matte from the leaking gas. I have mitigated this to some degree using a car wax.     b) That there are no problems with the mower, including the stalling/surging. Mr. [redacted] presumably asserts this because he "test mowed" a section of grass in front of the store. However, he raised the height of the mower to effectively not cut any grass and therefore he did not recreate the situation I mentioned to him. I have since found out that the engine is out of spec - it is currently at ~2450RPM (per a neighbors tachometer that was attached to the mower) and needs to be adjusted (I don't know the spec but my neighbor suggested it would be ~3000RPM). I have been told that when the engine speed is adjusted that the torque/HP would increase and I should not have any problems.Mr. [redacted] mentions that it doesn't leak oil. He is correct and I did not mention that in my complaint to the Revdex.com. When I returned to the business on 6/10, I did mention that there were a brown spot (and a number of green spots) under the mower after rinsing it off. Mr. [redacted] said even the brown spot was from the wet grass and he was correct.
Regards,
[redacted]
