I want to start off by stating that Good Feet prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and has been in business to help change people’s lives in Indianapolis for the last years. With that said I also realize there are sides to every conversation
and based off of perception, to every situation. I believe the claim that Mr*** has brought against the service levels he received on January 18th lacks validity. Mr*** arrived at the Good Feet Store in Avon around 10:35am and was provided with a full demonstration of our products that lasted approximately hours from our consultant Sandy. During that time Sandy showed and let him experience different types of arch supports and he tried on a half dozen shoes. At no time was it ever stated or insinuated that he was obligated to buy anything and if fact it was entirely up to him what products he thought could provide benefit. We were in the process of tendering his order when he stated he wanted to split the tender into transactions….one on a Flex Spending Account totaling $506.00, the balance on a different credit card. We were unable to run his FSA at this location and like past experiences when this occurred, we called another Good Feet Store for assistance with this transaction. After processing the transaction through our Greenwood location Mr*** became enraged….stating he did not want the product anymore and that it was not right to give his information to another location. We immediately called the Greenwood location back and refunded the $506.00. Mr*** proceeded to leave the location only to return a few minutes later to obtain a business card from the other consultant that was there by the name of CobyWe actually had a customer who witnessed this whole ordeal and ended up leaving only to come back for his purchase an hour later. He stated that the behaviors he witnessed were completely uncalled for and he could not endure the situation anymore. I have enclosed two statements from the consultants who were working along with receipts that show the transaction and within minutes the refund

*** *** purchased Arch Supports from the Good Feet Store on April 1, 2015. She returned on April 8th complaining the supports were not working and
that she believed that they were causing more damage than benefit for her feet. We offered to exchange her products for a different one (we have over different styles and different sizes) and she was reluctant. Asked if she could get a refund and it was explained that our store policy was an in-store credit only. At this time she left with her product and we did not hear back from her until I received a complaint from the Revdex.com on April 16th. I reached out to her on multiple occurrences (left messages on her voice mail) without a response from her. I finally received a phone call back this morning April 22nd. After a brief conversation it was discovered that she probably over did it during the breperiod and created more damage to her feet by wearing the supports all day from the beginning instead of easing into our product. I truly understand the benefit of our orthotics, it changed my life, but also understand that we can not help every person that walks through our doors. Sometimes there are underlying issues that arch supports will not help with. It was worked out with Kristi that I would return our products for a full refund and even offered to come pick them up from her home so that she did not have to return to the store again. I plan on stopping by this evening to pick up our products and will refund her monies back to a credit card. I believe she was happy with the resolution

The arch supports are way to painful, I have tried to wear them and can not that is alot of money to pay for something you can not use

In response to [redacted]’ complaint dated 12/4/2016 Good Feet Indianapolis would like to state the following.  We pride ourselves in outstanding customer service and strive to constantly exceed consumer expectations.  At Good Feet we provide a service that allows our clients...

to experience our products with no obligation to buy and educate them to other options that are available to alleviate foot, knee and back pain.  We are instructed to tell our customers that Insurance will probably not cover this purchase and that under no circumstances do we process or submit Insurance requests or deal directly with Insurance companies.  We can provide CPT codes and we do accept Health Savings and Flex Spending accounts.  Also, we have a strict NO refund policy which is stated all over our stores and is printed on a receipt that the customer is required to sign.  We allow for an in-store credit in the event you decide to return your product.  Our policy also states in the first 30 days you are allowed, at no cost, to exchange your product in the event you discover you are not gaining the benefits that you had expected.  With that said, I am not disputing that Mr. [redacted] was not in full understanding of our policies, I am just stating that sometimes we have confusion from our clients.  I have reached out to [redacted] and we have discussed his situation and we have resolved the complaint by agreeing to a full refund of his monies minus a service fee.  [redacted] explained that he ended up going to see a podiatrist after his purchase and was diagnosed with bone spurs in his heel, unfortunately not something our orthotics can correct.  He was willing to bring documentation stating that and thus we are willing to resolve this issue with a refund.  Good Feet will never question a medical professional opinion or insight.
