June 5, 2015Dear [redacted] , [redacted] is correct that she was the recipient of a gift we delivered on Monday, May However, her son is not our customerHe ordered the flowers from ***.com in Downers Grove, MI, [redacted] ***.com contracted Plaza Flowers to design the flowers, include the box of chocolates, and make the deliveryWhen she notified us that the chocolates were melted, we explained that they are guaranteed and promised to replace them at no additional charge which we didShe was pleased with the floral arrangement, so Arlene told her to enjoy that vase; we would replace only the box of chocolatesThe driver scheduled that delivery last on her route, hoping to arrive at [redacted] after [redacted] had returned homeUnfortunately she was not home, so the driver asked the neighbor to hold the box of chocolates in her cool house until the recipient was homeThe driver then tagged the door at [redacted] **, so [redacted] would know where to pick up the chocolates when she returned homeThe neighbor waited one day, but no one came to pick up the chocolates, so she graciously walked the box to the [redacted] 's house the following day.When [redacted] left me a message explaining her disappointment that her replacement chocolates were left with her neighbor, I stated the sequence of events above and apologized for her disappointmentI asked her to understand the choice the driver faced and her wise decision to leave them securely in a cool home instead of outside in the heatAgain she refused to cross the street to get the box at her neighbor's houseShe demanded a refund for the chocolatesAlthough we had already delivered two quality boxes of chocolates, I agreed to the refund because that's our guaranteeI explained to [redacted] that we would not be picking up the chocolates she is welcome to keep themShe never mentioned any issue or credit for the flower arrangement, which was beautiful and fresh by her own descriptionI said the refund would have to come through ***.com since I have none of her son's informationThe claim the [redacted] has not heard from me is falseWe discussed all of this as stated aboveI immediately messaged ***.com and asked them to credit the customer for the chocolatesThey confirmed the price change via electronic message in May ***.com did not pay Plaza Flowers for the chocolatesIf they failed to issue the credit, ther the customer should contact ***.Sincerely, Christopher D AAF President

I immediately messaged [redacted].com and asked them to credit the customer for the chocolates. They confirmed the price change via electronic message in May 17. [redacted].com did not pay Plaza Flowers for the chocolates. If they failed to issue the credit, ther the customer should contact [redacted].Sincerely,
