I am willing to meet in a neutral location with an employee that can be objectiveI do not feel comfortable as a female at that locationIn addition, when I spoke with the District Manager he said we could meet at the store I had the work done but he trusted his "guys"I am not confident in his objectivity based on our phone conversation

The customer claims that we removed the tires from his car and replaced them with different tiresThere would be no benefit for Plaza Tire to do this since the customers tire are used tiresThe customer also stated on the phone that an employee must have done this and put his tires on their car
We looked at every employee's car and none of them have the same size tire that came off the customers car nor did any of our employee's have Michelin tires, the brand the customer claims were removed from his vehicleWe have also reviewed every invoice from that day's business to see if maybe a mistake could have been made and the tires were install on the wrong carWe did not sell any tires that size in that day of businessWe have investigated the customer's claim and concluded that the customer's claim is unwarrantedTo help us with further review of this claim we would like to see a copy of the receipt where the customer purchased the tires he claims we removed from his vehicle

After the customer contacted the corporate office the District Supervisor for the area contacted the customerThe district supervisor and the customer made an appointment to meet on 10/10/at 2:p.mso the supervisor could look at the vehicle with the customerThe Customer did not show up
for this appointmentWe cannot help the customer until we can look at the vehicle with the customerWe would be happy to schedule a time to meet with the customer at their convienence

The customer claims we rebuilt their front end but we only replaced two upper ball joints and sway bar link kitsThe problem the customer is having now are the lower ball joints, the passenger side is a non serviceable ball joint and cannot be greased and it is sticking when you turn the
wheelThe original work was performed on May 20, A year later a different part than we originally replaced has failedWe are willing to work with the customer to repair their vehicle but we will not replace a different part for freeWe would be willing to replace the parts and provide our labor at no charge and the customer would pay us for the partsWe would recommend that customer replace both sides of the lower ball joints to eliminate the possibility of additional problems in the future

We installed tires on the customers vehicle on July 07, The customer claims she called the store the store in November and told them she had lost a wheel and that someone was going to call her backThe customer contacted or corporate office on January 10,and talked to the district
supervisorThe supervisor informed the customer that if wheel would have been left loose it would not take over months for the wheel to come offThe customer was not satisfied with the district managers response so she contacted the corporate office on January 12, I spoke with the customer and agreed to meet them on January 13,and look at her wheel and partsI met with the customer and looked at the partsAfter looking at the parts I agree that this wheel coming off was not the result of Plaza Tire leaving the wheel looseIn addition to looking at the parts I would like to note that if the lug nuts are left loose on a wheel it will not run over months before the wheel comes offThere would also be indications the wheel was loose before it came off such as severe vibration and roaring or popping noises from the loose wheelThere is also the question as to why the customer waited months after the wheel came off to contact usThe wheel came off on September 09, The customer at the earliest, contacted us in November In addition to these facts the customer's husband told our secretary that he had had to tighten the lug nuts on his wife's vehicle because they were having some problems with their neighbor, and their neighbor had loosened her lug nuts on her vehicleWith all the facts and information we have obtained through our investigation of this complaint we do not believe that we are at fault for the wheel coming off of the customers vehicle

The customer's coupon states "Turn drums, rotors and pack bearings where applicable." On this vehicle the rotors could not be turned because the grooves were to deep to turn them within specifications. Turning the rotors was not "applicable" on this vehicle therefore the were not turned....

The coupon price for the brake job was $99.95 and that is what the customer was charged.

The price on the ball joints were quoted to the customer at the store for $89.99 each. That is just the parts, not including the labor.

Since this complaint involves the legitimacy of a Missouri State Inspection we would like to set up a meeting with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Motor vehicle inspection division and the customer. We would like the customer to bring the part in question and let the Highway...

Patrol inspect the part. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is the governing body for inspections. We are required by law to follow their guidelines for vehicle inspections. If the Highway Patrol deems the ball joint is within specifications we will refund the customer for the part and alignment with copies of invoices where these things were purchased. If the Highway patrol deems the part was in fact outside the specifications then we will not offer any refund.

On March 8, 2014 we installed 8 spark plugs and spark plug wires on the customers 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pick up...

with a 5.3L engine. We installed Autolite Platinum spark plugs part number [redacted] We have verified with NAPA Auto Parts, O'Rielly Auto Parts and [redacted] Auto Parts that this is the correct part number for this vehicle. All three parts stores listed the same part number for this vehicle. Therefore the customers claim that the wrong spark plugs were installed in their vehicle is invalid and Plaza Tire Service does not owe the customer any refund or additional money for repairs.
