 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
1) Plaza Towers Apartment did not provide me with a "legally sufficient 30 day notice." The eviction not only was under 30 days, it was not court ordered nor was it a summons and I received it in the mail - NOT a process server. Absolutely not; this company is lying.  It was a simple letter from an attorney stating to vacate the premises by January 17, 2015. The letter arrived December 19, 2014. This is less than 30 days; and again, not court ordered. To state "legally sufficient" shows their dishonesty and not going through the  proper jurisdiction for an eviction.
2) If I was served by a process server, then they should provide the name, date and time this was done. They cannot do this because it never happened. This is a deceitful company.
3)  I did not have a motorcycle in my apartment and they have no proof nor paperwork indicating I did such. If they were that concerned, they should have knocked on my door and examined the premises to ensure I was breaching a contract. THAT'S that way to do business, not by guessing and assuming. Again, Plaza Tower Apartment has lied. I have never been late on rent nor caused any problems. My track record shows the ideal tenant. Moreover, the building is old and elevators continually break down. It was be a nuisance for ANYONE to try to bring a vehicle in the building. My apartment is on the 10th floor.
4) Plaza Towers failed to mention to Revdex.com that they gave me TWO eviction notices. One to vacate the premises by January 17, 2015 (not court ordered) and another one indicating to vacate by January 26, 2015 (again, not court ordered). The courts don't work that fast. So which is it?  If the January 17, 2015 eviction notice was legally sufficient, why send another one?? Moreover, the second notice AGAIN was not a court date nor sent from the court. Anyone could have sent it. And again, the second eviction letter was NOT served by a process server.
5) On December 19, 2015 yes, after retrieving my mail (and Edward the receptionist is a witness that I received in the mail because he was at the desk as I read it), I entered the rental office. After asking repeatedly why the letter was sent, the assistant rental manager walked from behind her desk, towards me and stated: "what are you going to do, what are you going to do." This woman is very tall and her aggression is certainly escalated everything. To walk towards ANY person and stating: "what are you going to do" is enough for anyone to feel cornered; especially for something inaccurate. I protected myself and "I" was the one who called the police, NOT the apartment people (I have phone records to prove it). If I assaulted Ms. Charita H[redacted], then she should have filed assault charges. She didn't because she knows her response to me was out of line and unprofessional and SHE caused it.
6) The protective order was dismissed because I was unable to go to court due to snow. The court date was Tuesday, January 6,, 2015. The day we had inclement weather. They are making it seem as though it was dismissed due to lack of evidence. It was dismissed because I was UNABLE to attend. Bottomline.
7) Its quite interesting that, after 18 months of living there WITH NO PROBLEM, NEVER LATE ON RENT, they even ASKED me to renew my lease naming me VIP Tenant, that I suddenly become this aggressive, "crossing the lines," tenant that suddenly needs to be out. Again, this is a vile and deceitful company.
8) Lastly, they state in the final paragraph: "Plaza Towers Apartments has acted in full compliance with Maryland Law..." - absolutely not. They failed to ensure I kept a motorcycle in the apartment. They failed to go court and obtain A LAWFUL COURT DATE.  They failed AGAIN with the second eviction letter (again  NOT COUR ORDERED), They failed in providing me with a 30 day notice. They failed in providing a process server. They changed the eviction date, which again, was not done via the court system. They have lied in their response. They are dishonest.
Regards,
