Pleasant Valley Outdoor Power Reviews (1)

In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I will address his complaints.  In looking back on our records, I can find no sale for 5/30/14 or 7/24/2014 in the amount of $42.85.  The fact that tires were purchased here is not in dispute, but either the dates or the price is in...

error.  Mr. [redacted] states that his wife came to pick up the repaired tires a week after his surgery which would have been 4/24/215, yet he states that the problem occurred on 5/2/2015.  Mr. [redacted] then states that the tires sat in his garage for another two months, which would put us at 6/24/2015 which has not arrived yet.  His complaints talks about the fact that his mower was not used, and sat for a long period of time in the mud.  There are many discrepancies in his story, it is confusing and at times inaccurate.
The suggestion that we attempted to give them used tires in place of the new ones they had purchased almost a year prior is impossible since we do not carry "used" parts of any kind, especially tires.  The tires that were repaired were the same ones that the [redacted]'s brought in, and the same ones that were returned to them.  They were expected to pay our fee to repair the tires since there are many factors that can contribute to air leaking, among those are fluctuations in temperatures and sitting for prolonged periods of time.  If the tires had a problem within 30 days of the purchase we would have repaired them at no charge, however, almost a year later expecting them to be repaired at no charge is not reasonable.
The incident that happened when Mrs. [redacted] came into the store was unpleasant as she behaved in a bizarre and disruptive manner in front of other customers.  The store manager at that time determined that it was better to just give her the tires without charging her, just to stop the scene she was creating.  She was given the tires and asked to leave and not return.  As much as this situation is unfortunate, given the inaccuracies in Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, plus, by his own admission the fact that he is not very diligent in taking good care of his equipment, it is better to avoid a similar situation with them in the future.  In summary, Mr. [redacted] was sold new tires, we re-inflated those tires almost a year later for which we were ultimately not paid to do.  We are unable to satisfy Mr. [redacted]'s request to give him an additional set of tires.  We strive to build positive relationships with our customers, but in this instance our best efforts failed, which we will use as a learning experience.  We go to great lengths to please our customers, and will continue to do so.
