Sandra
We purchased a home in January 2023 at one of the SD locations. We found Jordon and staff to be very accommadating. They were very fair on the price and responded to all our questions. We have since made substantial improvements to the property and the local park manager and the Wisconsin staff has been good to work with. We would recommend Pleasant Valley Properties.

Company advertised a home on Facebook market place. It then told me to go to an address for more information so I did. I than had to fill out a application for the house for rent it asked if I had pets I said yes so I continued to fill out breed, age, etc. On there company website it doesn't state anything of pet policy, so yes by them asking about animals I assume they allowed them. I than had to pay for credit background check. Once it was all completed I gotten an email they will contact me. I did receive a phone call and I stated the property I was interested in than the lady asked if I had pets and I said yes 2 dogs and she replied back than only accept 1 dog. But again there is no where stating about pets on website so I would like my refund back for my credit check due to not knowing only allowing 1 dog and 2 cats verbally said to me.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards

Rude I have lived here for three years and when I moved into the home I was told certain things would be fixed.... Well 3 years later not one thing has been fixed. But if I'm one day late with the rent they start eviction on me and cost me more money. Very rude and disrespectful staff.... disappointed

I am always treated with courtesy and respect when I call the office. Communications from the manager are always polite and direct. Any problems I have are taken care of quickly. I have noticed that recently they are doing a lot of cleanup and park maintenance to make this an even nicer community in which to live.
This is a very professional organization.

Angie and Jordan will talk down to you like your a piece of garbage. Highly unprofessional. Was supposed to have a summons and never received anything for it. I highly recommend staying away from this “rental company”.

I was looking to rent or purchase a mobile home at XXXXXX Needed to get a money order for $20.00 to get park approval and gave it to XXXX the park manager.Looked at a couple of homes and asked if there is room to put up a garage or carport. He said you have to go to the village of XXXX n meet with city inspector with a plan n get approval and I did he said I could .So my girl friend wanted to see the place she thought it was to small so we decided to keep looking. Then I called corporate and said you can credit my card back to my account. She says your going to be charged a daily fee which is going to be $145.83 I told her you never disclosed this with me when you asked for a deposit and we argued she’s going to keep that money. So when my credit card statement came I see the took $643.75 for I only agreed to $625.00 a different’s of $18.75 more they are stealing my money there is proof I signed nothing and never agreed to anything.

This letter is in response to complaint XXXXX. The money order for $20 provided by Mr. XXXX was for the application fee. Per Wisconsin State Statue 704.085 (1)(a) the landlord may charge for the Application Fee. After his application was approved, Mr. XXXXX was informed that in order to hold the home a security deposit would be required. He was told he can pay over the phone with a credit card which had a 3% fee or he could supply a Money Order or Certified Bank check to the park manager. Mr. XXXXX continued to move forward with a security deposit payment on his credit card. The security deposit amount was $625. The 3% credit card processing fee was $18.75. We immediately took the home off the market, removed the advertisements and stopped showing the home to any other potential renters. When Mr. XXXXX called to inform us one week later that he was no longer interested in the home, a representative from our company told him about the charge for holding the home and taking it off the market. This amount was $145.83. Per Wisconsin State Statue ATCP 134.05(3)(a) we can withhold money from a deposit for holding a home for a prospective renter. A Security Deposit Refund letter and check for the remaining amount of $479.17 was mailed to the Mr. XXXXXX on 11/29/2018. Sincerely
