Plexus Fitness are paid using an auto-pay or EFT process to minimize costs to the member. The EFT option also reduces paper and provides convenient, uninterrupted access to our services for long standing members. For members who elect not to participate in the auto-pay or EFT option, we provide an annual membership option with no additional costs or fees. Again, this option while not as efficient as EFT, still keeps administrative costs low. We have members that exercise both options. Review: I have been an active member with Plexus for over 3 years and I have asked to pay my monthly membership with cash. The reply that I received from the manager on Aug 4th 2014 was we can not except cash on a monthly basis but I could use cash if I wanted to pay one lump sum for one year which would be 588 dollars. I wanted to know if this is a legal practice it just seems to me that cash should be acceptable for my monthly membership.Desired Settlement: I want to know if Plexus can deny cash on a monthly membership. If this practice of collecting membership fees is illegal I want Plexus to be aware of their wrongdoing and let me pay cash on a monthly basis. I feel that not everyone has a credit/debit card and not everyone can afford to pay one years membership of 582 dollars.
