Review: Knowing I needed a new faucet, my HVAC provider purchased a faucet on my behalf, indicating that it was a great deal, perfectly good, just a display model. I received it from him and paid him for it on or about 12-28-14. I scheduled a handyman to install it on 1-17-15. After removing the old faucet (ruined during removal due to corrosion) and completing partial installation of the new faucet, it was found that the faceplate was not included in the box. I contacted HVAC provider regarding problem. He then contacted Plimpton & Hills. He reported to me that the part had to be ordered and would be available in 3 days. It was not received until about 2 weeks later. After receipt, I again scheduled handyman to complete the installation. He followed the installation instructions, but once done and tested, found that most of the water was coming out of the connection at the sprayer and the hose. He took apart the factory preassemled connection and recognized that some part was missing, but was not exactly sure what was needed. I then contacted my plumber who identified 5 small parts (all in a row) which were missing. He indicated they would be specific to the faucet. Contacted Plimpton & Hills, explained situation and identified parts missing. I was again told three days for delivery. I emphasized how I had already been without a kitchen faucet for so long and hoped it would actually be three days. Again, two weeks later via bulk mail the parts were finally received. I scheduled the plumber to complete the job. Once the new parts were installed, there was still some water running down the hose and he determined that there was an interior break in the hose, fairly close to the area that connects to the sprayer. The plumber also showed me that the missing parts could never have just fallen out ; it appeared to him and me that this faucet had been raped of parts, and never should have been sold. I

called Plimpton again on 2-23-15, and again the part had to be ordered. After discussing this, my dissatisfaction with the sale of an unusable item to a consumer and the excessive amount of time it has taken to rectify problems, I was assured that the new hose would be sent via a shipping service. She called back the same day asking me to check for a tag on the underside of the sink which shows the manufacture date, as she was having a hard time finding the correct part. That was when I discovered that this faucet was manufactured in 2006. Today is two weeks since and I have not yet received the replacement hose.I called Plimpton at 11:30 a.m. and left a message with [redacted], who has been ordering all of these parts. I have not received a return call.Desired Settlement: I would like to be provided with a brand new faucet of my choice of similar style and finish from the same manufacturer ([redacted]), and I would like to have the cost of using my plumber removing the current, unsatisfactory faucet and replacing it with a brand new faucet. I would also like a written apology from the company, and would like to see that they not be allowed to sell unusable products to consumers in the future. I have been without a kitchen faucet since January 17, 2015!

ID [redacted] This item was sold to one of our HVAC customers from a floor display . All sales models are sold as is and at a price 50 to 75 percent below our cost . Contractors know this and are aware there may be parts missing and at the price they are paying , they take on that responsibility . I DO NOT know what was communicated between our contractor customer and his customer [redacted] about this item . To help reduce [redacted] pain we will contribute a new [redacted] faucet free of charge . We do not feel responsible for the plumbers labor .

Review: Purchased a bathroom medicine cabinet. Then returned the cabinet because it didn't fit in the bathroom. At the time of purchase and return we were not told it was a special item that would not result in a full refund. We desire to have the full refund since we returned the product accordingly and it was never used nor damaged. Original purchase was at $350.00 and we received a partial refund of $232.00.Desired Settlement: Receive the remaining refund of $118.00 not previously granted.
