Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2017/07/27) */
[redacted],
So here's how this went. I charge every customer a consultation fee to determine the animal issues as every situation is different. We have time and expenses for every job potential. I stated my terms up front and I also stated that I...

will determine the animal issues and how I could resolve them.
The customer then accepted my quote. The next day they wanted to add services we don't provide then two people proceeded to call and text me constantly wanting the job done with extra services added on for free.
Bat work is weather and time dependent and the customer kept trying to push me to schedule them before other customers. A family or a wildlife emergency trumps a job that can be done any time.
I went on an emergency call for a possum in a grill and then she cancelled and started threatening me with bad reviews. So I said we aren't going to do your work. Then she called me an hour later asking why I was late.
Drug use is bad, can we agree upon that? And don't threaten your contractor. I earned my $169 climbing through her attic and dodging the dog [redacted] up there. Who takes a dog into the attic?
Thanks

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2017/07/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
"Yes, Bill did state up front what the consultation cost would be, that was understood. We did accept Bill's quote because we wanted something done about the situation in a timely manner, as there were bats flying around in our house on a routine basis at that point. We have two cats which could have been bitten or scratched by one of these bats, which Bill knew, so we stressed that we wanted the job done as soon as possible. Bill scheduled with my partner and I for two weekends after the call, though no other work was requested. It was our understanding that the project would be finished within a certain time frame and that time frame proceeded to get pushed back multiple times, although the weather was fine for the work. Never once did Bill said he had X amount of projects to be done before he would be able to get to our needs. Nearly a month after the initial contact and three missed appointments, Bill had the opossum incident, and we told him we did not want his services any longer. I am not sure why he said "drugs are bad" as neither me or my partner were or are on drugs, we just made it very clear how frustrated we were. At this point the work has been done by someone else, and we would no longer like to try to get our money back."
