I am rejecting this response because: 
 
We were never informed prior to an estimate or any work being preformed of a trip charge (which is the required to charge fees) and we did have full approval from our landlord.
 
Again a more detailed account and how we were treated:
[redacted] did ask how much it would be and did not just say come out and fix it.  She called to find out when they could take a look at the problem and provide an estimate.  The technician when he showed up did not say "I will give you an estimate, but if you don't choose me I will still charge a trip charge, instead he proceeded to the bathroom.  Within 5 minutes, again no work was performed, the tech stated his rate of $95/hr.  He would not provide an estimate as requested.  [redacted] called me and when she was on the phone with me, she asked several times well how much, his only response was his hourly rate.  Finally, he stated it would be 1 hour plus $25 - 50 in parts.  We then said ok to the work.  The technician asked to be paid first.  We informed him the landlord was paying for it, as she once had before with this company. As to the claim of not having approval, we did have approval and the landlord was aware of the work to be completed.  We just needed to call her to have her give the tech her payment info.  This was explained to the tech, but he was impatient.  Instead of waiting for a call back or payment, he started demanding a trip charge.  This was the first notice of it and as such cannot be charged.  I was put on the phone with the technician and explained to him the rules about these charges.  He claimed they are shown on all of their advertisement, which I disputed as this is not the case.  He relented knowing he was wrong and proceeded to leave.  The next mistake he made was to place an invoice for $125 in my mailbox.  By opening my mailbox, the technician was in violation of federal mail laws (I will be contacting the postal inspector about this).
 
When I contacted the owner, many obsenities were thrown at me (call him, you will see how rude he is).  I was threatened by the owner and still demanded to pay.  When I mentioned it was not stated in their policies or was I or [redacted] made aware of the fee prior to being charged the fee.  He called me an "[redacted]" and told me he would sue me in court and hung up on me instead of trying to discuss the issue.  Had he been nicer and just asked if we got payment information, his company could have done the work.
 
RESOLUTION:
1. a written apology from [redacted] the owner for his language and treatment of me on the phone.
2. a written statement acknowledging wrong doing with a promise of nothing owed
3. Revdex.com should compel company explicitly list on their website and advertisements any such fee

I don't care about the work anymore as I found another company that came out the next day and provided the work. They provided a written estimate and completed the work with in 30 minutes.  They even accepted a check to be sent from the landlord.  Lastly they charged less.

Review: We had a plumber come out to the house to fix a leak in our bathtub faucet. The technician that arrived would not give a proper estimate only quoting his hourly rate. Only until asked several times for an estimate, did he provide one and only verbally. We decided to go forward but needed to get our landlord on the phone for approval, however they were unavailable. After being unable to get in touch with our landlord, the technician then told my girlfriend there would be a trip charge and started demanding payment. When making the appointment or viewing their website to obtain their number, there was never a mention of such fee. I got on the phone with the technician and pointed out that at no point was my girlfriend or I notified there might be such a charge. The technician stated it was on all of their advertisements, none of which I had or was shown and he continued to argue with me. After, I stated what he was doing was against the law, he handed my girlfriend back the phone and left. After the technician drove off, I proceeded to call the company to report the driver. When I contacted the company, I could only speak to their call center. They have told me [redacted] (the owner) would call me back, but I believe he probably tells his employees to do this, since the technician at our house could respond to anything or do anything with out calling a special number. The technician then told my girlfriend there would be a trip charge and started demanding payment. Disputed Amount:$120.00 Desired Settlement: I think the company should apologize and provide this inexpensive service at no charge.
