Plumberologist

I scheduled an estimate with this company on a Friday. They called the day before to cancel unexpectedly, but were able to reschedule for the following Sunday. Sunday they did not show up or call. After not calling to acknowledge the no-show, I called to reshedule again. They came out the next Friday. After the estimate and agreement to begin work, the technician broke a tile and did not notify me. Upon completing his work I noticed the cracked tile and asked him what happened, and the reply was simply "oops". The service manager was called and he took almost a week to schedule a tile worker to come out. It took 10 days for the tile contractor to call back and schedule the work. Very unprofessional group.

Review: I recently had an issue with my 1/2 PVC valve bursting in my son's bathroom while installing a new faucet. I contacted Plumberologist (###-###-####) who informed me they could have someone on-site between 2-4PM on Wednesday, 4 September. I asked the dispatcher how much their service call was, she informed that the technician would provide that information. The technician did his walk-through and informed me he would come back with a price for the repair. I asked him since I already had the faucets and water supply hoses, how much would it be for him to complete? He came back 10 minutes later with the following two options: (1) $922.82 to repair the 1/2 PVC and install two faucets. (2) $556.98 to just repair the PVC. I had NO water so I went with option #2 which seems a little extreme in cost, since it only took 30 minutes. Please inform or provide any insight on the pricing of this establishment for repairs.
