Muriwood fox ridge in Murfreesboro Tn was the builder of my homewe visited the job site every weekend to check on the progresswhen we visited we would look at the other homes being built at the same timewe noticed the inferior quality of work being done to all the homeswe express concern on the quality of work being donethey kept telling us its a work in progressbut what we saw was them trying to hide all the mistakesat the end of the build we pointed out all the problems with the home before the walk through, we are told that this is their standard building practicewe end up walking away from the housewe feel sorry for the people who end up buying it
We are first time homeowners and had been searching for a home on and off for about 2 years! It was really scary because we were afraid that we would get stuck with an older house that would end up to be a money pit! We happened to see an advertisement online for "Summerfield Village" in Antioch, TN and decided to visit and see what it was all about. We met Roger & Allison at the leasing office and they were awesome! We were very impressed with the quality of our new home when we received it. It was hard to believe we had a brand new home, in our budget, designed completely by us . . . it is our dream home! Sean our contractor has been very accesable to us even after moving in & always willing to help us out if we have needed it! I would recommend this experience to everyone and would not take it back for anything in the world!
We corrently put a binder on a foxridge home in Columbia TN, We come from NY and the building codes must be much more strict, my husband a experienced builder was looking at the homes being built in that area and told the sales person how this home was not being built correctly, how the upstairs is not stable the way they put the sheathing on the homes , They did not secure the upstairs with the down stairs,by the way they sheathed it should be one continueous shealth from the down staisr to upstairs, meaning the sheathing should be put in side ways from the bottom up and connected to each other for the strenght of the total home up and down. The way he seen it sheathed was unsafe.We are contacting the building manager about this problem. We also dicided on not getting a basement because of the way it was built again not to code and the house will have irreversable damages. My husband is going to ask for the blueprints to the home. We have not requested any changes yet so I cannot rate this accurratly.
