Review: We were told someone from Plumbright Plumbing will be here Monday July 7th 2014 to fix our plumbing. The plumber never showed up. We called them Monday evening and they told us they will be here first thing Tuesday morning July 8th. We called them Tuesday morning at 9:45 and their service person told us they are not in yet. At 10:00 they called and told us they will be there in a little bit. At 11:30 someone from Plumbright Plumbing came. As soon as he walked in the door he said, "The tree is in the way, when was the commode snaked last?" I told him, "I don't know we just moved in a month ago, and it is the tub and the kitchen sink that is stopped up, the commode drains all the water when we take a shower." He walked outside to his van came back in and asked if I had a flashlight told him, yes. He went to the bathroom stood at the door for a couple minutes, than he went outside to his van came in with one tool took the commode out went back to his van brought in a machine that made noise, went back out to his van and brought in a bigger machine. He came out of the bathroom and said, "I can't fix it, that will be $75.00." I said, "You can't fix it?" He said, "No, another company have to fix it and they will get on your roof to snake it out because your pipes go straight than they turn." I told him I need a receipt, he said he don't have any to give me but will email me one. I told him, "my husband said to get a receipt when I pay you." He said he will bill me, I said okay. He walked out the door to leave. He went out to his van talking on phone, than he came back and gave me a receipt and I paid him my $75.00. His boss called and said they could fix it by installing outside track and it will cost us $700.00. We said, "NO thank you." I got on my cell and called around for a plumber and [redacted] Plumbing Repair came out one hour later and fix everything and it didn't cost half what Plumbright said it would.Desired Settlement: I want my $75.00 back and I want everyone to know to think before they call Plumbright.

The business called the Revdex.com to say that the tech was called for a issue with a toilet. The customer did not have a clean out, which is an access point to run a snake. This customer did not have a clean out point and so the tech had to move the toilet. Their machines were not able to make the bend and at that time they followed protocol and contacted the warranty company. Since there was no clean out point the claim was not covered under the warranty. The business then provided a quote to create a clean out point, it was for $625. The customer did not want to pay that and now wants the $75 trade call fee returned. That is not a refundable fee since it is contracted with the warranty company .

We know the $75 fee is a trade call fee contracted with the home warranty company and the business. We called in the problem and DID so correctly by telling the them our commode, tub, kitchen sink is stopped up. The Insurance company told us Plumright will be here Monday. Plumright never showed Monday so we called them Monday evening and they told us they will be here first thing Tuesday morning. We called them Tuesday morning. We do not use well water. If the plumber thought we had a well then why did he try to fix it and still charge me the $75.00 fee. Our commode wouldn't flush, our tub wouldn't drain and our kitchen sink wouldn't drain. The plumber didn't look at the kitchen sink or the tub he only messed with the commode and he said he could not fix the issue. We want our $75.00 back because he couldn't fix our problem.

Review: Plumbright installed a hot water heater in my house. Several months later a leak occurred. I called them but they couldn't get out there until the following day and the leak was getting worse. So I called around and [redacted] could come out that day. They came and found that the union for the mixing valve was only hand tightened when installed. I bought the unit and brought it home originally. The technician who came out from Plumbright could not get the plug out to hook it to my [redacted] heating system. I had to take it all the way back out to the place where I bought it and they pulled it right out. I then brought it back home and the technician installed it. Rather sloppily (getting welding slag on my wall and floor), but I didn't complain because I at least had hot water. But this just proves how sloppy the job was in the first place.

When I called after the repair was completed the person at Plumbright ([redacted] I believe) said that I should have waited, but I couldn't wait because there was water leaking and if I turned it off I would not have had heat. He said that I could have asked for an emergency repair (extra $90 I believe). But why would I have done that when I could get [redacted] to come out at no additional charge. And I had no idea the leak was due to a poor installation. I thought the unit had gone bad.Desired Settlement: Plumbright reimburse the $125 I had to pay for the poor installation.
