Ms [redacted] continues to twist and misrepresent the facts about her experience with my companyShe states that the tile didnt arrive til tuesday while Walter had to waitFact: monday was our demolition day removing close to square foot of existing tile and addl carpetFact: If Walter was waiting on tuesday how did he not know he was to do the job on wednesdayFact: walter was already tiling on tuesdayFact: we estimated the job to be done by friday, Walter worked hours on saturday and about an hour on monday morningWe try not to work SundaysFact: Ms [redacted] knew and chose to take off work that whole week and could have gone to work no more than hours late on MondayMs [redacted] states we cleaned our brushes in her bathroomThese are paintersThere is no way and both painters staunchly deny doing something so ludicrousIt is far more reasonable that this was staged to try to justify her storyLast, again, The carpet company refused to deal with her and her bill had to be reduced more than just to get her to payIf she will bill the original bill then we will be happy to address her legitimate issues

To Whom It May Concern:I *** *** would like to respond to what was said from MrD***First of all MrD*** stated that the job will be done in days Friday April 15, The job was not done until Monday April 18, with Walter and his wife working on SaturdayWalter could not work on Sunday due to he was going to a concert Saturday nightI was okay with me that he left at 3:on SaturdayThe bid was for was to remove the all the tile and carpet and to lay new tile and carpet(See Invoice) So there was not anything extra to be removed per MrD*** I was told to buy spof tile, then they sent someone else out to make sure and that person said to by spof tileI question that big jump in number and MrD*** sent someone else out for to check againHe said sp so MrD*** told me to get to be safeThe rooms that where to be painted was painted and it was small holes in the wall that was patched and one in the dining room that they never doneSo a total of holes were doneThe two in the bedroom that was patch was not textured just painted overThe trim in the bedrooms was not painted so that is other lieSecond Walter did a good job as to the fact he was on the job without the material and just waited for MrD*** team to pick up the tile from MrTile on Monday April 11, which they did not pick up until Tuesday April 12, Walter did not know that he was the only one assigned to the job until Wednesday April 13, MrD*** sent out a helper that painted the rooms, and he put paint in my marble sinks and down my drain as he washed his paint brushes in my sink(Please see pics) I told MrD*** that I was not happy throughout the week about how my job was going because there was no way that it was going to be on time to finishWalter also complained about them not telling him that he was to do the job by his self so he complained as wellWalter brought his wife who complained about them making Walter work a job like this on his ownShe came to help him finish the job and still it was not finished on timeSome of the tiles needed to be replace due to their hollow and Walter said he had to redo them, but never did themSome of the tile is not grouted due to he missed some spots trying to get this job doneI had to clean up behind themI have my closet door that they took out to tile and it does not fit and now im responsible for buying a new one to be cut to size, but it was not like that when he started the jobAs far as the carpet that was a big mess and I know what I choose at the carpet place and what the sales guy said to me and my husbandThe people that MrD*** had put in the carpet left nails sticking up and the carpet was cut uneven at the doors to meet up with the tileSo our feet get stuck when you walk on the carpetSo as far as the price being grossly under what any licensed contractor would have charged, they would have done a better job with my houseI still paid for my own paint and tiled and MrD*** is acting like he paid for it out of his pocketI had to miss days of work to get this job doneThe overall issue is that they job was done poorlyWalter is good at what he does and I give him that but under the gun to finish a job that started wrong is impossible

Mr*** is not being fair with PlumbsmartMr*** scheduled an appointment for an AC estimateWhen we went to his laundry mat facility in downtown Phoenix we met with him, evaluated the facility, and discussed the situationMr*** informed us he had two other bids for ton units
Typically, he emphasized how important his budget wasWe told him that the very least he could put in was a ton unitWith much trepidation, Mr*** agreed to a ton unitThe amount we charged was approximately under an average chargeWhat is subjective and unknown is the management of keeping the large entry door closed and the amount of time dryers are runningThis laundromat was a recent purchaseWe brought out our manufacturers rep to evaluate before the installationHe agreed that a ton unit was a minimumMr *** was aware of thisDespite the incredible competitive price, Mr*** begrudgingly agreedSince the installation we have rechecked the system several times with and without the manufacturers repwe have had independent AC companies evaluateWe encouraged Mr*** to get his own independent companyThe system is working absolutely perfectWe now know that the large front entry door stays virtually open during business hoursdryers run continuouslyThe absolute solution is more ACMr *** knows this He does not want to pay anymore for his high utility bill during the summer This is our solutionWe are willing to add an additional tons at our hard costLabor and material onlyNo profitHis utility bill will go up during the summer but only minimally, the system will not be working continuouslyHe will have a ton system for around the price of a ton in comparisonIn conclusion, we are not willing to take his system out and give him a full refund because he kept us to a budget and now wants to try swamp coolers which will not workWe knew that the worse that might happen was to ad more AC

The original bid was for almost sqft of tileAdditionally we had to remove and prepare almost sqft of existing tileThe bid included replacing carpet and painting larger bedrooms including doors and trim and patching numerous drywall holesSee invoiceThe carpet was installed for under
$a yard which included 1/" six pound pad and installation including stairsThe tile/paint price is grossly under what any licensed contractor would chargeI estimated to complete the work in five daysThat Friday,the fifth day, we were almost completed, I was five hours off my estimationMs***'s complaints are inconsiderate for several reasonsOne, the whole time she raved about my tile setter and the job he didEven when I went to get payment in full (no deposit was asked for), she maintained Walt's excellenceTwo, the carpet she chose by physically visiting the carpet store I referred to, was denied the day of installation and the installer was sent awayThe carpet she chose was the only color and weight availableShe claimed it was thicker heavier carpetHer rudeness to the carpet store owner was so intense that despite my efforts to send his installer back per Ms ***'s wishes, he refusedI successfully got a different carpet installer that next day, SaturdayThird, when I went to get paid Ms*** refused and told me to take her to courtShe mentioned nothing about the carpetShe stated she was satisfied with the tile and loved Walt, but complained about the paint because I didn't re-texture her drywall repairsThe price and the fact that there were an extreme amount of previous patches, was the reason we did not perform thatDespite an incredible price to perform these tasks, I was held hostage to discount our job almost $furtherI lost money on the job which is Ok but she accepted my discount without me admitting fault and then proceeded to behave this way

Fact: walter was already tiling on tuesday. Fact: we estimated the job to be done by friday, Walter worked 5 hours on saturday and about an hour on monday morning. We try not to work Sundays. Fact: Ms [redacted] knew and chose to take off work that whole week and could have gone to work no more than 2 hours late on Monday. Ms [redacted] states we cleaned our brushes in her bathroom. These are painters. There is no way and both painters staunchly deny doing something so ludicrous. It is far more reasonable that this was staged to try to justify her story. Last, again, The carpet company refused to deal with her and her bill had to be reduced more than 1000.00 just to get her to pay. If she will bill the original bill then we will be happy to address her legitimate issues
