Transportation was provided to our passengers in the form of a relief bus being sent to the scene of the breakdown It was the customers decision to leave the bus and find alternate transportationListed arrival times are based on optimal travel conditions, we advise all passengers with time commitments to plan their trip accordingly

Can you formerly file my complaint against them in their Revdex.com listing? Are there litigation options? Regards, [redacted]

Can we see the ridership stats for that day?

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused on July 29, by the breakdown of our bus, enroute from *** *** to Hyannis Unfortunately, unforeseen mechanical issues do occasionally happen With regards to the lack of air-conditioning -- Passengers were given the
option of waiting for the next bus, & the driver was correct in stating that the bus needed to be brought back for service, in any event The break-down was caused by the alternator belt breaking which caused the bus to overheat Another bus was immediately dispatched and all passengers were transported to their final destination. In order to provide a refund we will need proof of transportation in the form of the Customer Receipt from the ticket purchased in the amount of $ Please forward to * *** *** *** *** ** ***

Due to their deeply discounted price, our 10-ride commuter tickets have always carried a day expiration. These tickets were designed with the daily commuter in mind and were never meant for the occasional traveler or for a group traveling togetherNotification regarding our ticket policies
is on our website under the FAQs and the expiration is clearly printed on the ticket. Partially used tickets as well as expired tickets are not valid for refund or transportation. In an effort to help clarify our policythe expiration and refund policy have been enhanced on the Terms & Conditions published with each ticket. Please note that the online purchase cannot be completed without the customer acknowledging the Terms and Conditions

As we advised the customer, although not operated with one of our own coaches, service was provided between Provincetown and Hyannis by a local vendor on our behalf. The Chamber of Commerce was aware of this arrangement, but it is evident by this correspondence that they did not properly
advise all of their personnel. The Funk Bus did display signage in their window that they were were operating on behalf of Plymouth & Brockton. We are currently waiting for the customer to mail in the unused bus ticket, so that the appropriate refund can be processed. As stated in our terms & conditions, as well as on our printed tickets we do not reimburse for any additional travel expenses incurred

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our bus having a malfunction Our driver did contact both his immediate supervisor as well as the maintenance deptA relief bus was dispatched from the nearest facility to accommodate all passengers. As per our refund policy which is clearly
posted on our website *** :Refunds will not be issued due to delayed departure and/or arrival times as these cannot be guaranteed as both can be affected by a number of factors including weather, traffic and other conditions beyond our immediate control. Plymouth & Brockton is not liable for any inconvenience or expense caused as a result of such a delayIn addition, Plymouth & Brockton is not liable for any other travel expenses caused by a delay

If no one new about your replacement of your Saturday service with the Funk Bus, did it actually happen? How is it my fault that you the PB Bus did not post signs inside the Chamber of Commerce, on the bus stop, or notify the people working the PB phone lines on Saturday? How is it supposed to help me if the Funk Bus had a sign on it WHEN I NEVER SAW THE FUNK BUS? Your argument is spurious and I reject it. A $10 refund does not cover the cost of my [redacted] ride, which was my only way out of Provincetown.

We will gladly refund the unused portion of the Plymouth & Brockton ticket, once forwarded to the address on the face of the ticket.  We have ridership statistics for all trips between Provincetown & Hyannis on the day in question, & feel that since these other riders were accommodated that the driver obviously made his/her presence know before departing. We will not reimburse for [redacted].

Contrary to what was stated in the company's response the Terms and Conditions did not mention that the tickets expire in 30 days until now. In document 4 p&b.docx you will see a screen shot taken on Dec 1 of the Terms and Conditions where it mentions nothing about 10-ride passes having expiration dates. Furthermore, the ticket purchase pages have no direct link to the FAQ page (the only part of the website where the expiration date was mentioned). As you can see from the attachments it was not made clear to me before purchase that the tickets would need to be used within 30 days. I am not a daily commuter, so it is not reasonable to assume I would know the policy. I have no wish to take advantage of the company and am more than happy to pay for the 2 rides I used. However, I would like a partial refund of $44 ($73 minus$29 (the price of 2 rides without the 10 ride pass).

I am not satisfied with the response of the company. They are offering a bus service, and their response was that they are not responsible for buses breaking down and causing delays, which is unacceptable.
