Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10967685, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,

This was absolutely a horrible experienceThe estimate they provided to me for the move was way offI was told my moving costs would be $1200, I ended up paying 2,My moving day was to be on a Thursday, I was all packed and readyI waited and waited, nothingI then called them, they told me someone would let me know exactly when they'd be thereI waited for over an hour, then finally someone called and told me they will not be making on that dayThey'll be there on the next day, FridayWhen my furniture arrived at my new residence quite a few items were scratched up, damagedMy TV stand was also missing the glass slides, rendering it uselessI called one of the movers who told me he had the slides and would send them to me via ***I never received the slidesI would never recommend them for any move whatsoeverThey're dishonest, misleading and unprofessional

I just had a very bad experience with Plymouth Rock Van Lines The facts: signed up for a quote to move a 5xunit from *** *** to *** I was quoted a price since they were in the area and didn't have to do much traveling of approx $I was told this would take care of everything we agreed on a time window of to PMI called multiple times to get confirmation but none was forthcomingFinally I got confirmation at 4:pm that they would arrive in minutesThey arrived and emptied my furniture and boxes to the pavementAt such time they talked about "long carry fees" and that my belongings occupied more than cubic feet thereby driving up the price by hundreds of dollars I have had enough I spoke multiple times to the sales office which is different from the operations office which is different from the dispatch officeNeither wanted to honor the original agreement over the phone and they referred to a contract that had not been seen and had a *** squibble on it as if it was my signatureThe driver claims his boss takes fees out of his paycheck for such things
My impression yes they were ready to do business in less than hours but that really doesn't matter because as they said they were in the area and most of my fee would have been profit to themTheir driver and team leader is trained to find ways to inflate the fees instead of servicing the customerThis is not a trustworthy company and their professionalism ends as soon as the job is promised to themI just wanted some furniture moved not have legal debate over what is considered accessible and what is notI have seen elderly people travel and move boxes over the areas they were demanding extra fees for It is more advantageous to rent your own truck and maybe hire some labor if you can't do it yourself It is worth the time to only hire reputable companies
