*** from PM Check Repair was contracted by *** (Service Request ***) on or about 18 MAR2020 to diagnose and repair my *** electric oven range (model *** / serial # ***. *** from PM Check Repair made contact via text message to myself and arrived at my home of ***. Suffolk, VA 23434 on or about 21MAR2020.*** from PM Check Repair collected *** via credit card utilizing Square for the contractor service fee that is required for repairs to commence. ***diagnosed the problem with my oven not heating and received payment immediately afterwards. *** stayed that he would order parts that day with an estimated delivery time within 2-3 days and the repair being completed within 3-5 days. After 7 days, I contacted PM Check Repair inquiring on the status of parts and repair schedule. Later that day on 24MAR2020, I was contacted by ***y staying that parts were not ordered by the contractor but ***took the liberty of ordering those parts on the contractors behalf due to a lack of communication. Since then, PM Check Repair has been extremely inconsistent and unreliable with returning messages and will only make contact after I request contact be made from ***. On three occasions after contact is made with PM Check Repair for scheduling the repair, there is no call/no show each time. First ***refuses to refund the ***service fee and PM Check Repair has yet to complete the repair process.
I formally request completion of the repair to my oven by 13APR2020 or a complete refund of the *** service fee paid.
from PM Check Repair reached out and scheduled to repair our oven on April 15th between 1 and 5 PM. He actually arrived shortly after 8 PM to fix our oven. The oven is now fixed after 1 month with the actual repair time taking less than 10 minutes for both assessment and repair. There literally isn't anything positive or constructive I can say about this individual "company" and their professionalism, or lack thereof. I would request that my grievances be made available to any others that would find this helpful or useful and to prevent this company from doing business with anyone until they can learn to operate a small business correctly and professionally.
