installation; therefore his statement lacks the required experience to be justifiedIf the liner is 13” short than it would not fit into the poolThe liner is a perfect fit with no wrinkles and no stretching evidentAfter measurements are submitted to the manufacturer, the manufacturer in-turn manufactures the liner to the submitted specificationsCustomer states that the liner pulled out of the installation track/clip while pool was fillingThis is completely after liner is installed and pool is filling due to the age of the track/ clip, as that track/clip will expand after so many seasons of having a liner installed in itThis is why we offer customers the “liner-lock” optionIt is a ridged plastic clip that installs into the same track as the liner to hold it into placeIf the customer declines this, the liner may pullout while the pool is filling in which case we snap it back into place when the pool is filledThe weight of the water pulling down on the liner actually holds the liner in it’s clipThere is no undue stress or tension placed on the liner when this occursLiners are designed and manufactured to have a life span of approximately 8-yearsThe gaining process of a liner causes vinyl to stiffen and become brittle and lose it’s elasticityOther factors that determine the aging process are the weather, sunlight, water chemistry and bather loadAll of which are out of our control after the liner is installed and the pool us filledThe manufacturer pro-rates the warranty of the liner on a year to year basisPm Pool Service properly measured and installed *** *** pool liner and will honor the warrantee issued by Merlin Industries
Jim W*** has spoken with *** *** via telephone multiple times after the installation was complete addressing these concerns and explaining the concepts contained hereinAttached/Uploaded please find the executed Estimate which includes the scope of work and warranty information As previously stated PM Pool Service offers no warranty on in-ground pool liners; we do however honor the manufacturer's warranty

Review: we selected PM pools to do the remodeling of our pool. PM had also been engaged to do pool opening after our current pool guy transitioned his business to PM pool. after the pool wash, PM pool notified us that the pool is in such bad shape that it needs to be remodeled and wanted to wash the pool again when they come out. PM should have told us the pool needs to be remodeled before they wash the pool the first time. we worked with [redacted] and raised our concerns about washing the pool twice unnecessarily. we then agreed that the price including everything for the remodeling as well as both pool washes. [redacted] agreed to that for 7200 total. we engaged PM based on this agreement and understanding. After the pool remodeling is done, [redacted] said that his intention was only for it to include one wash, not two. after several back and forth with [redacted], we finally agreed that by paying the remaining balance of 5136 on 7/11/14, it settled all outstanding balances with PM pool as of that day to honor his initial agreement. We made an online payment on 7/11/14 and we sent an email to [redacted] to confirm. Thought the matter was closed. After a few months, PM sends bill statement as if this never happened, we called accounting several times and talked to various people and in the end reached the owner's son, [redacted]. He said he was never aware of the situation and again, we have to explain what had happened, unfortunately, no use. they treated this as if the agreement with [redacted] never existed.Desired Settlement: to reflect the agreement with the company for the remodeling and $5136 should settle all the outstanding balances as of that date.

We have adjusted the amount in dispute. It is still our belief that the amount in question is valid, however, in light of the large job and to promote customer goodwill this amount is no longer on account. Please see attached statement reflecting the adjustment and correct balance due.
