[redacted], let me first start with thank you for all you and the Revdex.com have done for me over the last couple of weeks. On January 15th [redacted] the General manager at Keawee Chrysler contacted me concerning the problems we have with the 2015 Jeep Cherokee, expressing a sincere apology and taking full responsibility for everything. They replaced it with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and have received outstanding service through the Keawee Chrysler dealership. I'm now completely satisfied and would like to confirm this issue resolved.Thank you again.

They called the salesperson that Monday and told them what happened, I then spoke to her husband and explained that I could send a Tow truck up to North Carolina and have the truck towed back to our dealership at no charge to him since there dealership told them they couldn't get to it. I also explained that I would have a loaner brought up to him and that we would get the truck fixed ASAP. He did not want to hear any of those options. Once a new vehicle is NVDR. Which is a new vehicle delivery it is considered a used vehicle. I explained this to him and said I would do whatever we could to get the situation fixed. He did not like this answer and for that I am sorry. I hope that they got there truck fixed and if they haven't then please let me know and we will do whatever we can to help them get the situation resolved. M[redacted]Operating Partner864-[redacted]

We have contacted Chrysler concerning this and they have advised us to reinforce the springs, We have and it helped correct the issue. I don't mind helping out the customer but he cant receive full value back for the vehicle he purchased 2 years ago.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I have tried numerous times to get in touch with M[redacted] myself as to which he has not answered or returned any of my calls. I am upset because there was a relabeled transmission put in the $47,000 truck I just purchased. I was told there were no new transmissions. Dodge also told me I did not have to accept the used transmission. I was then told by the service department at my local dodge dealer that their district manager said to go ahead with the used transmission. I have been in contact with C[redacted] T[redacted] from Lake Keowee Dodge and explained what was going on. He said he would relay the information to M[redacted]. No one ever reached back out to me  or helped me to a resolution. I was also charged over $2,000 for a portfolio fee that Dodge says I shouldn't be charged for since it was for a warranty that comes with the vehicle. I am overall very unhappy and would like a resolution. I was sold a dangerous product and have charges that were never explained to me.
Regards,
K[redacted] H[redacted]

There has not been a diagnostic ran on the truck yet. The truck is sitting at [redacted] in [redacted], NC waiting to be looked at. I have told Lake Keowee that no matter what the problem is with the truck, I do not want it. The only gear that works on the vehicle is reverse and the drive...

gear stopped working while going down the highway. There was also a burning smell coming from the transmission and the transmission fluid.

I am currently working with Chrysler to get a resolution. I should know something by the end of the week.   Mark W[redacted] General Manager864[redacted]

We told you what the payment was with the bank that we submitted it too. You proceeded to tell us to see if we could get it lower. That is why we submitted it to the other banks. You where aware of this and now you want to blame us for it. That is unacceptable.

Hello! This message is in regards to complain ID [redacted]. Lake keowee contacted me today and have offered to repair the issue with our vehicle. They have quoted the time to complete the work to be done sometime next week.

Better...

Business Bureau:

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, Please let us know below why you are rejecting the offer made by the business.]
Regards,
L[redacted] T[redacted] Like I told them, we were told that they would pull our credit 2 times why did they pull it 10 different times at banks in **, **, and they are not under just 2 banks.  I also told them to prove to me by pulling their own individual credit score 10 times in the same day that it doesn't drop a credit score more than 3 points.  Which none of them wanted to do but instead they just want to keep telling me the same thing it doesn't drop your score that much. We also talked with one of the other bureau's and they told us that the business can go back in and request inquiry be taken off which they said they would do but haven't cause they thought we would just let this whole thing go.

We have went over this with the customer. We sent to the banks that he approved. It would not drop his score that much. He can request removal of the inquiries through the separate bureaus and they will send us a request. Your credit score would not drop over 80 points due to inquiries.

[redacted], below is the time line of events on the purchase of a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. Thursday Dec. 24th; Went to the Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Seneca SC to check out the Jeeps.  We met with [redacted], a sales person who was very pleasant and walked us around the new Jeeps....

We test drove the Jeep Sport.  We looked at the Journey and the Grand Cherokee and the Caravan and decided the Sport was the size we were looking for.  We met the MOD before we left and he encouraged us to go on line and see the different packages that came with the different vehicles. We did just that.  We really liked the Jeep Limited and wanted to test drive that on our next visit. Saturday Dec. 26th:  We went back to the dealership to see [redacted].  She was busy with another customer and [redacted] was nice enough to step in after talking with [redacted].  [redacted] was very helpful and we told him we were interested in seeing the Jeep Limited.  He had one that was a 2015. We fell in love with the color of it. Granite Black.  We took it for a test drive.  It was very comfortable and was easy to drive.   The check engine light was on and [redacted] stated we would get that looked at. Which lead us to talk about the service department.  He said they had the top of the line service department. They are even expanding.  They had 19 loaner cars should our Jeep ever need any work done on it. The test drive was over and there was a lot of extra's on this Jeep that we were not shopping for. We asked to see a few others of the same type but a 2016.  We didn't see any we liked as much as the 2015.  [redacted] stated that with the 2015 you get the 100 thousand mile warranty and with the 2016 they only offer the 60 thousand warranty so the 2015 was a much better deal and a great price. He knew we were using a Chrysler employee family and friends discount.  So [redacted] went to work on getting the ball rolling with the purchase of this Jeep we loved.  He stated that he wanted us to bring the car by on Monday so they can check out that check engine light. We agreed. We left the dealership very happy with our purchase.  Shortly leaving the check engine light went out. We made one stop on our way home and the Jeep started and ran just fine. We got the Jeep home.  All is well. Sunday Dec. 27th:  Getting in the Jeep to go to church and it will not start.  It turns over and then 3 seconds later it stops. We sat there in disbelief and tried it one more time and it started. We backed it up and it felt like we were running on 3 cylinders. Very weird and scary.  We did not feel safe enough to take the jeep anywhere.  After church we left a message with [redacted] and he promptly returned a text stating that he was so sorry and he would get it towed Monday morning and get it fixed. Monday Dec. 28th: Tow trucked picked up our Jeep around 11:30am and they took it to the dealership. There was no loaner available for us to use so [redacted] missed work on this day because of having no transportation.  [redacted] called and stated that he had fixed the problem.  It was an issue with the computer system in the radio and he updated the whole system and we were good to go.  We went to pick it up. We needed to give them the title of the trade in car and the correct EP # and when doing so we brought it to their attention that we had a different EP# and they reworked our discount to be more than originally thought.  Paperwork was redone. They explained it to us that this would have been caught down the road and we would have been reimbursed over it.  It wasn't that they were ripping us off. We understood their explanation of all of that. And we asked if we could get some compensation for all of this trouble.  We asked about some Weather Tech floor mats.  The best thing they could do for us and our trouble was to sell us the mats at cost. Because we were still all in with our Jeep... We drove home with our the" fixed Jeep".. Wondering how could they sell us something with a check engine light on and take our trade in without a title and not have the correct EP # to give the correct price.  But it was all behind us and really everyone is very pleasant there. Tuesday Dec. 29th:  We go to start the Jeep.  It does NOT start...  tried several times. Came back in the house to make arrangements and thought we would try it again.  It started.. The weirdest thing. So it was taken to work.  And brought back home that night, parked in the garage Wednesday Day 30th. The Jeep was not driven, sat in my garage all day. Thursday Dec 31st. We are having a family outing.  Our parents come over because we are going to take a day drive to show off our new Jeep.  It doesn't start.  We try it several time.  It turns over and then goes dead. Thoroughly aggravated with a new vehicle with starting problems. We called the dealership spoke to both [redacted] and [redacted] both confirmed they would bring it in again to fix it. They gave us a phone number to a tow truck service. I called an arranged the towing. About an hour later the tow truck driver arrives and gets in it to check it and Jeep starts. Parents go home...no show off drive today again. Crazy.  The tow truck driver takes the Jeep.  Load it up on the flat bed again as now a couple of neighbors are coming over to ask isn't that you’re new Jeep??? Why we are having this towed twice in just a couple of days.  Crazy   With arriving at the dealership the tow truck man can't get it started to get it off the truck.  There is a real problem with this Jeep.  We get to the dealership they have called [redacted] to get a car for us.  All the loaners at the dealership must be still out??  At least we were offered some transportation this time. There was a definite disconnect between the dealership and [redacted].  [redacted] had to get more information from the dealership before I was given a vehicle.   I am done with this Jeep.  I love it. I can NOT trust it at all.  We contacted the cooperate office to file a complaint.  I want a replacement.  Just like the one I bought, I want to trust what I drive.  I need to have reliable transportation.     Shortly after this started I contacted Corporate and talked to [redacted] to establish a case number. She told me someone from corporate will contact me for more information.   Tuesday Jan 5th 2016. [redacted] from Jeep Resolution team contacted me to confirm what had happened and that they will contact my Thursday the 7th for their response.   Wednesday Jan 6th 2016. [redacted] from Keowee Dodge called to confirm the car has not acted up since they had it. I told him I'm leaving it up to corporate to decide. They were going to continue to test drive it until it did it again. Thursday Jan 7th 2016.[redacted] from Jeep Resolution called to ask me to return the rental to [redacted] and pick up my Jeep from the service department. And that on Monday Jan 11 they would contact me with a resolution. Picked up the Jeep and drove it home.Friday Jan 8th. Drove to work no problems.Saturday Jan 9th. Drove one mile to get gas. Pulled out from the gas station and the Jeep stalled. Restarted the jeep and the check engine light came on. I called Keowee dealership to confirm the problem. [redacted] in the service department told me the best he could do was for me to bring it in on Monday. I ask if it would be safe to drive and [redacted] said that it would be. We pulled out of gas station again and the transmission would not shift and the engine hesitated and would not run right. I called dealership and they directed to call roadside assistance. I called to schedule a tow truck through roadside assistance. An hour later the tow truck arrives. In the process of pulling the Jeep onto the flatbed truck he blew a hydraulic line. I left the keys and car with tow truck driver. Called the dealer back to arrange a rental and they were unsuccessful and obtaining a rent car. So again disgusted without a reliable vehicle. Dealer claimed we would have a rental on Monday Jan 11th.Monday Jan 10th. [redacted] from Jeep Resolutions team called to confirm the work was being completed on my Jeep. I indicated I wanted a “Buy-Back”. [redacted] directed me to the National Center for Dispute Settlement for answers. I form was mailed with a time line to better explain my situation. Thank you
