The landlord Kay [redacted] knew that I was paying rent for a boyfriend. I did so because I believed I had co-signed for him and did not want to ruin my credit rating. Rent was $700/month. My boyfriend and I broke up but I continued to pay diligently. Kay was aware of this. After the last month was paid, I was informed my name was not technically on the official rent agreement, just the application, which I felt was entirely deceitful on her part. She allowed the tenant to stay 2 extra weeks without my knowledge or consent and then kept the full security deposit.

This dispute is between 2 people mad the hh - She should sue him for the security deposit.

I believe this demonstrates the businesses unprofessionalism.

My girlfriend and I were shown a property in roberts on Saturday april 25th. After seeing the property we were told that a 300 dollar check would hold the property until our application process was complete. We turned in our applications on Monday april 27. Not hearing anything by Thursday april 30, I called [redacted] (the property manager who showed us the property) to see if they had made a decision. He informed me that our credit applications came back and our scores were a bit low. He said that our proof of income showed we could easily afford the property, and asked if we could find a co-signer. My mother has an A credit rating and agreed to co-sign. She called [redacted] and emailed him Friday morning and afternoon. He responded to her at 8:30 Friday night and they agreed she would fax her information on Monday morning(may 4) as she was leaving out of town for the weekend.
Monday morning at approx 7 am, my girlfriend received a text from [redacted] saying that he is ripping up our earnest money check because he approved someone else for the property.
We have 4 children and 10 days to be out of the place we are in now. [redacted] completely went against his word. He had our earnest money, never told us our application had been denied, in fact , told me we would be approved with a co- signer and then rented to someone else right underneath us.

Review: My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment May 1st of this year and during our initial walk through we came across some pretty severe issues that needed to be addressed and repaired immediately. We found that not only was the carpeting heavily stained and soiled to the point that there was the lingering smell of dog urine from the previous owner but that there was a basketball-size hole rotted through the bottom of the cupboard underneath the sink which was "fixed" by filling the hole with insulation and covered with newspaper and duct tape. The laminate wood floor in the kitchen is warped and bubbled and there is a 3 sq. foot remnant of water damage surrounding the sink. I have 3 animals, 2 of them small animals and I fear that there is potentially mold growth and premature rot taking place in this unit. I called [redacted], the property manager, that Thursday, May 1st to address that we have some issues that we wanted to have addressed and resolved - we never received a phone call from [redacted]. I did receive a phone call from maintenance; however, it's been two weeks since our move in and we still have had no resolution. I have repeatedly tried following up with calls to both [redacted] and maintenance. I was informed by maintenance that professional cleaners were brought in. If this is true, they did a horrible job. My $140 Hoover steam cleaner pulled yellow water even after 4 passes on the living room carpet. The floors in this unit are a nightmare.I am incredibly disappointed in the way that this business is operated and how [redacted] chooses to handle his tenants and customer care. To say the least, I feel that as soon as I gave him our money and signed our names for the unit we are no longer of any of his concern. We have tried contacting the head company that manages this property with [redacted] and we were redirected to [redacted], which has been of no assistance. We are very frustrated and looking forward to this year lease being over already.Desired Settlement: Inspection comes to evaluates the damage to determine repairs needed. Following that inspection I want immediate action for appropriate repairs. If maintenance or repairs are not in place within a week after inspection, I want a full refund (all investments) since the company failed to meet the requirements as stated on the lease terms of providing a "move-in ready" apartment. This is not only NOT move in ready, but also potentially hazardous to myself, my boyfriend and my animals.

Our house was switched to this company and I hate them. Our house has mold and they haven't fixed it at all. They are impossible to get ahold on. One of the ladies I spoke with at the lacrosse office was so rude to me she hung up on me because I asked to speak to a manager. Unreal. Do not rent from them
