PMI

Review: I purchased a vehicle from this business that I thought was a legitimate business.The total price of the vehicle was $12,000. I put 2,500 down and financed the remainder. Which left approximately, $9,500 to pay off. The finance company (Lobell Financial) is insisting that I owe them the entire $12,000, and refuse to acknowledge my down payment and my additional monthly payments. I tried to contact PMI Auto Sports, and they seem to have disappeared. The neighboring business said the people who ran the business moved to Germany, which leads me to believe they were a fly by night company that rips people off, selling them lemons and misrepresenting about repairs made. The car broke down as I was driving off the lot. PMI said they would install a new engine in the car, and told me to come back and pick it up in 2-3 days. I didn't get it until an entire week later however. The car has now broke down for the 6th time after PMI Auto Sports said they put a new engine in the car for me, and which all of the mechanics at the Mazda dealer said this is not a new engine. Not to mention 2 months after I bought the car, the Kelly Blue Book value went down 50%, which I wasn't too concerned with at first, thinking there was a new engine in this 9 year old car, a Mazda RX8, which usually is a nice car. Lobell Financial refuses to work with me in this matter, while the car sits broken at the mechanic wanting 1600 to fix it again! Lobell Financil said they are coming to repossess it if I don't catch up on the payments, which I refuse to do on this lemon that was misrepresented to me. I do not know what if any legal recourse I may have, if the PMI Auto Sports company has disappeared. I wonder if they even had a license to conduct business in Buena Park, and whom I could contact to get some relief in this type of matter.Desired Settlement: I am not sure what I am entitled to, if I give the car back to the Finance Company or the PMI Auto Sports Company (if it still exists somewhere.) A refund or a replacement vehicle would be nice, please advise me as to possible options I may have.Also, I do have supporting documents in the car, but it is at the mechanic right now, while I try to figure out what I should do. I can possibly get these to you, if you think I may have some type of recourse in this matter.
