The parts total once finished came to $75.27.When the customer arrived to pickup the units, the actual total on the invoice for the chainsaw was $127.49, which includes $45 in labor. Customer stated he did not approve the repair and our labor rate was illegal. He said he was quoted approximately $70 for the repair. It was explained to him that this price was for the parts only labor could not be estimated. Acknowledging that he was quoted the $70 would disprove his statement that he was not called on the repair bill. We would be willing to forgive the labor, but the customer will need to pay for a total of the parts bill, $75.27 plus taxes, in order to pick up his saw.
