June 17, To Whom it May Concern, In response to the complaint against us, we understand that the customer is upset with the timeframe involved in obtaining his Title and registrationWe are also dismayed that the transaction could not be competed within days, however, we do not have a lot of control over the company that assists with out of state (PA) deals [redacted] handles all of our transactions that are going outside of Pennsylvania and they work with the DMV from the state where the motorcycle will be housed We do complete our own paperwork for PA deals, other states have different requirements than PAThis customer contacted us on several dates with the issues that he stated We promptly followed up with [redacted] and delivered the messages given to us, directly to this customer or his wife in most cases On May 21, 2015, [redacted] was contacted by us for an update They stated that NJ DMV had the paperwork and it would be sent to us (PMHD) on Tuesday May 26, as Monday was a holiday We asked them to please send Title, Registration and plate directly to the customer this time [redacted] agreed The customer was notified by us.On May 26th the customer notified PMHD that he had not received anything from [redacted] *** We contacted [redacted] again to follow up with the NJ DMV, we had no answer by the end of the business day We contacted [redacted] again at 8:am on May 27, Our representative at [redacted] continued to try and contact NJ DMV for an update At 12:pm we were notified that [redacted] had the paperwork in hand and that it would be sent to the customer via overnight [redacted] ** The customer received the license plate and registration on Thursday May 28, The title was sent to the dealership on June 1, and was immediately sent to the customer via [redacted] Next Day Air While we understand the customers frustration, every effort was made by our dealership to resolve the matter We unfortunately cannot control the NJ state requirements for a motorcycle and we are not able to complete NJ State registration and title workWe value all of our clients and do our best to provide superior customer service.Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson
