Posting this for people out of province looking to purchase a Lab puppy from [redacted] (Doin Dogs) and has nothing to do with the quality of dogs but how we were treated by [redacted]. We were looking to Purchase a puppy from [redacted]. After speaking with him a number of times we agreed and arranged on shipping a lab pup to [redacted], at this time he requested a full payment of 1500 which was sent to him. Some time later he called and said he had to put that puppy down, but he offered another puppy, a female instead of male, we were fine with the female. Few more weeks went by and he called to say this puppy was ill and had surgery, he went on to say that it made a full recovery and it was up to us if we still wanted it, we said yes and also asked for something from his vet so we could take to the [redacted] for a second opinion, which he couldn't produce. Now he offered to give us our money back at this time, but he also said the pup was 100% so we said we still wanted her. few more weeks later he called and said the puppy had to be put to sleep. So he was asked when there would be another litter, he said he didn't know, and he was asked if we could be placed first in line for next litter when it did come, he wouldn't answer. Not wanting to wait for a year, we asked for our money back to look elsewhere. [redacted] then told us he doesn't give money back. [redacted] I'm sure his Labradors will stand up to their reputation, [redacted]
