We used PODS for a move from ArizonaWhen we initially called for pricing we received a quote *** from Arizona to Florida (out of state move)The possibility of an in-state move became a possibility as well and I received a quote under ***

I have been a customer with PODS for yearsI only went with the this company and decided to pay more monthly, versus going to the local storage company, because I understood that I was paying for the convenience of having them to deliver the POD to the my new location.I reached out to a PODS rep about having my Pod delivered to my new location, and got the worse news ever!! I was told that they could not deliver my pod because of the street that I moved onAs a matter of fact, I was told that I would have to rent a Uhaul and pick up my pod from the location in BolingbrookI live miles from there, and I would have to spend hundreds of dollars plus pay for moversThat was the whole purpose of going with the PODS serviceThis is a very misleading and inconsiderate companyThere is no way I would have paid for my things to stay in PODS for this long if they would have told me that that they wont deliver the POD to my new locationThis must be addressedI am furious!!! I have used PODS on more than one occasion and have found them to be easy to do busy and professional However, I had issues with being charged twice and they changed my billing date to the 10th of the month when they adjusted the overage I am being billed for both storage and transit on PODs My PODs were delivered at my new address on 6/and 618- one was returned on 6/and the other on 6/ These pick up dates were selected by me and within their business hours for pick up At no time did a PODs agent explain the day grace period related to return of the PODs and storage fees
Given that I was paying for storage AND transportations fees on the same dates, as well as the PODs for which I'm paying storage fees are likely being rented by someone else, this seems unethical and unfair to the customer I spent over $on this move and we used PODS for another move from a household in OH, that will be delivered on Saturday Hopefully we will not experience somethin

We used PODS for a cross-country move from McKinney, TX to Sheridan OR We loaded our belongings into 16-foot pods in early May We were in temporary housing when we arrived in Oregon until the beginning of July
On 6-12-we contacted PODS to arrange delivery of our containers to our new residence on 7-1- We had loaded painting and cleaning supplies last so that they would be easily accessible Our plan was to clean/paint on Sat/Sun and we scheduled a moving company for 7-3-to unload the PODS I took vacation the week of July 3rd to allow time to unpack and settle into our new homeOn 6-30-at approximately 1:p.m., I received a call from Amy at PODS informing me that they would not deliver our PODS on Saturday stating that the storage facility only serves our area on Tues/WedShe also stated that they would not deliver all PODS in the same day I explained that we already had movers lined up and that we had scheduled this well in advance to avoid any

This is not what happened, but I was not notified until the first two pods were loaded with my possessions at my house
I actually had to create a spreadsheet for all of the bills - which were required to be auto-pay from my credit card

ON TUESDAY MAY 3, I CALLED PODS INC TO SECURE A STORAGE POD FOR SATURDAY MAY, THE SALES EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS SPECIAL AND THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED ANYTHING UNTIL JUN 7, BECAUSE OF THE SPECIALNO DELIVERY FEE OUT TO ME AND NO DELIVERY BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE WHEN THE UNIT IS EMPTYI HAD HIM TO REPEAT THE INFORMATION THREE TIMES TO MAKE SURE THAT UNDERSTOOD THE SPECIALHE AND I AGREED TO ESTABLISH AN ACCOUNTTHE SALESMAN TOLD ME TO WATCH
MY EMAIL FOR THE CONTRACTIT NEVER CAME, I FINALLY GOT TO SPEAK WITH SOME NASTY EMPLOYEE THAT WOULD LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINTTHE THINGS THAT THE SALESMAN SAID WERE NOT ON THE CONTRACT
WHICH I REFUSED TO SIGN THE CONTRACT AND THE COMPANY LOGO SAYS THAT EVERY PHONE CALL THAT COMES IN WE RECORDi ASKED THE SUPERVISOR TO LISTEN TO THE PHONE CALL AND TELL ME WHY THE SALESMAN LIED ABOUT THE FREE FIRST MONTH AND OTHER ITEMS THAT HE STATED

My husband and I moved from Maryland to North CarolinaWe were told we could fit everything into one podWe ended up needing two at twice the expense expectedWhen the first pod was delivered, all of the items in the pod had shifted, destroying several itemsWe did not pack it but hired their recommended packing serviceThe second pod was delivered several weeks later and several items in that one were destroyedAgain, we did not pack it but hired their companyThe second pod also could not be opened and when I called customer service I was informed it would cost me $to fix their faulty equipmentI was also told that all pods are stored so the items won't shiftThis obviously is falseI felt very cheated by this company
