Point Motel

I made reservations for my Dad at the Point Motel in Stevens Point, WI in September of 2012. The Iola Car Show and Swap meet is a yearly event in Iola, WI in July. Many Hotels were already booked for that weekend, which lead me to the Point Motel, which had vacancies. We booked and confirmed more than 3 times before my Dad's arrival on July 11th. When my Dad went to check in after the first day of the swap meet, they told him that they were booked and did not have his reservation. The people that own this hotel do not speak English in a way that English speaking people understand. They even called to confirm his reservation, but we could not understand a word they said. When I found out today, that my Dad's room was given away, I called them to find out why this had happened. Unfortunately, I could not understand the woman or the man that was talking on the other end of the phone. I would NEVER recommend this motel and would like my complaint known that they should either speak CLEAR ENGLISH or close up shop....Very unprofessional and I hope that no one else ever goes to their Motel....They should never be in business....or hire someone who speaks English. Luckily my Dad was able to get a room at the Comfort Inn down the road, but paying twice as much, was not in the plan.
