On 11/17/I sent an email to the customer as follows:"I have you on the books for 11/18/around 1:p.m. (The 29th is no longer available.) The guys will call you before they head over. I need the addresses for load and delivery. This list should take approx
hrs. We charge $135.00/hrthis includes men, our truck, equipment, insurance and fuel for a local move. (Stevens Point, Plover). We prorate by the quarter hrif it should take less or more time. We accept cash or check C.O.D. Please confirm."I explained to the customer via phone that we had a prior move in the morning of that same day and that I could not guarantee a timeI said around 1:p.m. and the guys would call before they head over. The guys called before they headed over at 12:20 and did not get an answer, called again at 12:30 and left a message on the answering machine(our phone records will prove this). They arrived at the customers residence at approx. 12:30 and parked in front of his aptnext to the handicap sign. They knocked on the door and rang the door bell several times. They waited in the truck until 12:55. They assumed the customer was not going to show since he had not called back and was not answering the door. I pay the guys by the hrand they should not need to sit around. We have had numerous occasions where the people have already moved out without informing us. Why did the customer arrive at his residence on a moving day minbefore he thought the movers would arrive?. The customer sent an email at 1:16, called our office on Fri11/18/at 1:p.m. looking for the movers. I called him back and told him that they had been there and left. He became super irate, he actually scared me. He was swearing and calling the men liars, he said he was there and no one called and no one knocked on the door and no one rang the xx@@&*^ doorbell. I explained to him that I could no longer help him because the guys left for the day and that I would have one of the guys call himNo one returned the call because he called them liars and was swearing. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11851037, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.After reviewing Stephanie's email, they did not call my cell as we discussed and she left that detail out.  My phone records at work and on my cell carrier show that the only time that they called was at 2:20 pm, to my work phone.  As to waiting, I cannot honestly say if they got there at 12:300 or not.  Again, the arranged was to be 1 -3 pm per our phone conversation and I was there at 12:55.  It appears that it is a she vs. he scenario and they are not willing to pay the extra amount for moving the following day, which is unfortunate.  I would like the $255 extra back per their inconvenience.I would like to move on from this matter and never speak to them again.  Sincerely,  Scott
