Review: Point representative contacted my initially by knocking on the door. He said that "Pointe pest control" was in the area and he could give me a special price on spraying for bugs. I agreed and paid him $89.00 (approx) in cash. He had me sign what I thought was a receipt. II signed it. Found out later that this"receipt" included a contract for 4 more sprayings. Without any other notice, Pointe (allegedly) came out on June 27th and sprayed again. I saw no one. They billed me for $92.78.
They called me and they are demanding payment. They also want to complete the other 3 spayings as per our contract or charge me $95 more for a contract cancellation fee.
Even after their first initial spraying, I continued to have a sever ant problem. Their stuff doesn't work.

2 Their product(s) do not work.Desired Settlement: I would like the remainder of my contract cancelled without the penalty. I will agree to pay the $92.78 if they provide some conclusive evidence that they actually showed up on June 27th. At this point, I do not trust these people at all.

I had a great conversation with Mr. [redacted] on 8-15-14. He was not aware that he was signing a contract for recurring service and it sounds like our inspector did not do an adequate job of explaining. We waived the cancellation fee and Mr. [redacted] agreed to mail in his payment for the second treatment. We will perform one reservice at no charge.

Elizabeth was totally correct about the CONTRACT..... in April 2014 a representative from Pointe Pest Control came to solicit new customers in our neighborhood. Be sure you read it very carefully...........because I was in a hurry to get to an appointment......I did not. So they arrived 4/30/2014 to spray for spiders, etc. THEN someone called to schedule a May appointment and other appointments for August, November and February, 2015 as stated in the contract I signed. Each appointment is $95 + tax.
I had to pay $95 to void the contract. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I blame myself but think this is not a customer 'friendly' service. There are other businesses who will be just as happy to take care of your problem.

Review: I contacted Pointe on Jan. of 2012 to take care of ants, they came and sprayed. In March of 2012 they came again and sprayed and told me a contract would be less costly, they said I would have to have 4 regular services following the initial, they said the January service would be considered the initial. I then had services done in March, April, July, and October of 2012. I got a call in May of 2013 and was told by contract I needed to have another service done, they came and did it and I was told this was the end of the contract after 6 services when it should have been only five. In August 2013 I got another call and I was told I needed to have another service because of the contract, I told them not to send anyone out till I was sent the contract and I could look it over. They sent me the contract and before I could call them back to discuss it they had all ready sent a service person out and left a bill for $96. The contract shows Jan., March, April, July and October of 2012 but not the May of 2013, the bill was paid and I can show the canceled check. The August 2013 will be the seventh service for a 5 service contract.Desired Settlement: I don't feel I should have to pay this bill. I already paid one more than I needed to and they keep sending people out to do services and expecting me to keep paying them. The office girl is very rude and just seems to do what she wants.

I am not sure what balance Mr. [redacted] is referring to. We sent him a letter letting him know that we wouldn't be charging him for the early cancel fee or service that was completed. This letter was sent out last week maybe it was never received? In this letter it states that we apologize for any miscommunication and will waive the service fee and early cancel fee. If you need me to send another copy please let me know and I will do so.
A Pointe representative just came by my house at 8:20 PM soliciting services in spite of my NO SOLICITING sign. When I said no thanks and pointed out the sign just next to my doorbell and told him to get off my property, he responded "Don't [redacted] ever talk to me like that again or I'll beat you up you [redacted]." That guy works for Pointe Pest Control! I feel I should probably contact the Bend Police.
Review: Pointe Pest has failed/fails to provide what they say they would. They call two days prior to coming and expect to be able to provide service inside our home with that short of a notice. They have sprayed in the home 1 time in the last 4 services. The service outside is a joke. They do it in 5 minutes according to the time in/out left on my door. My neighbor even watched one time and said the tech didnt even go under the deck which explains why there were two bees nest still present the next day. There was even one at the peak of my eve and when called the lady was rude and said "oh, well he probobally didnt have a tall ladder"...inspecting the eves is part of the contract!!!! When the tech did return to remove the nest at the peak of the eve he left the base of the nest and they returned 1 week later. The front porch has spider webs behind the light after so called service. Spiders are on deck and front porch. When I told the [redacted] at their office that I have not been happy with their service and I give up on them she was VERY rude and said " Your under contract". I asked her to send me a copy and still have not received it. Now they bill me for service that they never performed plus interest $95.00 + 4.22 int and threaten collection. thats flat out wrong. I work for a major grocery chain and when talking to customers about my dissatisfaction I learn that Im not the only one.Desired Settlement: zero my bill and quit harrasing me.

We have used Pointe Pest Control for 2 years. Our home is also located near a wooded area. We have found Pointe Pest to be very effective with their treatments. Because the outside is thoroughly treated, we don't need to have the inside treated. I have other tried other pest control companies and have found that some are unscrupulous. Not calling ahead, spraying without my permission and then trying to collect. NEVER answering or returning emails or phone calls. I will stay with Point Pest forever, never had better service.
