Pointe Plaza Hotel

Review: I got married the night of june [redacted]. I was looking for a hotel specifically that would allow a friend of mine to check into for me so that I wouldn't have to be busy with the check in myself when I was with my bride. I called a couple of hotels and they all said that I myself would have to be present at the time of check in and therefore I did not book with them. when I called the pointe plaza hotel they told me that it wouldn't be an issue at all for a friend to check in. this information was what led me to book with the hotel. however when my friend got there they refused to allow him to check in for me despite the fact that it said in the notes of my account with the hotel that he was supposed to check in for me. this lead to me being very embarrassed when I had to tell my bride that we had to wait to go to the room because I had to be busy with check in. therefore I am asking for a refund, because if I knew that I would have to be busy with check in myself anywayI would have gone to a much more upscale hotel as opposed to this lying hotelDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund, the embarrassment caused that night ruined the entire night in the hotel. had I known I would have booked elsewhere
