Thank you for your letter dated October 6th You're correct in stating every business receives a complaint, although we are sorry about hearing about this complaint we are pleased to state our sideWe provided to the Volkey wedding all that was in their contractWe also have a witness who is the Director of the Lodi, Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce who was present during a phone conversation when we told the customer on what we would provide and what we could notThis included the landscaping, and beerNo business would last long if they allowed a customer to make loud disparaging comments in the middle of serviceIn this instance, the Mother of the Groom was making loud comments about how we only provided ½ barrel of beer and how they couldn’t have gone through that much, we have video proof as we changed out barrelsWe showed her husband that very night of us switching one empty barrel and supplying anotherIn fact another ½ barrel was purchased that nightNo beer pitchers were sold to customer that were NOT part of the wedding partyIf we did this we would not make any money on the regular customersThis claim has no merit or sense at all As to the allegation that we would supply sod for a bare area, this was not promised or authorized by the building ownerThey took it upon themselves to buy sod and lay itThis change to our property was done without our permissionThe very next day they rolled their sod up and we expected them to come and get itAs of this writing they have not done soPertaining to the chairs we put them up outside and took them downDuring the wedding reception we told the Mother of the Groom several times that we were sorry that she was not happyHer own husband also told her to “just enjoy the day”The Mother of the Groom continued making accusations loudly when I told him I would only deal with him, He agreedDuring reception two fights broke out from some of their drunken guests which we had to break up We firmly believe that NO REFUND is warranted in this matter of food and services as we fulfilled our contractSide note - We have a Gazebo which is old and not structurally soundWe took it upon ourselves to hire a contractor to do a rehab to the steps, sanded and painted white all of the Gazebo so they could take pictures on their Wedding dayWe did this at no cost to themWe are tearing down this Gazebo that was used just for their weddingThey were on a “very” tight budget, so we gave the ballroom at no charge to them alsoWe also had a very lewd sexual act on our dance floor in front of many children, when a father confronted participants a fight broke out [redacted] Pokey's Smoke on the Water N Hwy Lodi, Wi 608-592-
