My daughter registered for a Comprehensive Pilates Program on December 27, 2018. After taking into account the cost to fly from California to Miami six times during the program (plus hotels, car rentals, and meals), she changed her mind and called the business to cancel her registration on December 28, 2018 (less than 24 hours after registering). It's my understanding that there is a 72 hour period to cancel a consumer contract with no penalties. At that time she was told there would be a $500 cancellation fee (this was never mentioned during the telephone registration process, nor is it mentioned anywhere on their website). She was also told it would take 30 days to process her refund. This is total B.S. since they had no problem charging my credit card in less than 5 minutes. It doesn't take 30 days to process a refund. It's now been six weeks, and the refund still hasn't been issued. Repeated phone calls to the business have only produced excuses, and no results.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We have been actively speaking with this consumer and have resolved the issue of the refund. We have a cancellation policy his daughter (client) signed at the time of registration that clearly states that there is a $500 cancellation fee. Please see attached. We adhered to our policy regarding refunds in this situation. We understand his frustration in receiving the refund after 30 days. We take full responsibility for that and have taken measures to ensure that does not occur in the future. We have been in business as a Pilates Teacher Training company for over 20 years and have provided the opportunity for successful careers to many graduates. Customer service to our clients is of utmost importance to us. We value each of our clients and try to ensure their experience with us is positive, uplifting and seamless.
