Dear **. [redacted],This is in response to your April 28, 2014 letter concerning a complaint made by [redacted]. **. [redacted] also wrote to the [redacted] Consumer Assistance Center, at which time, his complaint was fully investigated. I am enclosing a copy of the response...

from the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee to [redacted] concerning that complaint.Our Chief Lending Officer, [redacted], has also tried on multiple occasions to reach **. [redacted] to discuss his concerns in the hope that we could reach a mutually beneficial agreement. Unable to reach him by phone, a letter was mailed on April 25, 2014.Although **. [redacted] has suggested that the maker is willing to make payment arrangements on the account, she has made no attempt to do so with the Credit Union or the law firm, who has been handling the account since September 2013. They have sent demand letters and left several messages with no response. The next step in the process will be legal action.The maker and cosigners are jointly and severally liable on the debt. Only one amount is owed by all of the parties. We are willing to accept payments from any or all of the signers. Once the obligation is paid in full, all signers will be released from further liability and any credit reports notated accordingly.

Review: Signed as a co-signer/co-maker on a loan with the PFCU for a [redacted]. However **. [redacted] became delinquent on her loan with the PFCU and it went into collections with the credit union. At no point in time when **. [redacted] became delinquent on her loan did the Credit union notify me that she was falling behind or discuss with me via telephone or in writing any options I had as the co-maker on her loan about bringing it current and keeping it from going into collections. Only when the loan became serious delinquent and behind did anyone from the credit me let me know there was a issue! Credit Union also made up their own rules about their collection practices and tried to attach payment from my checking account with any prior knowledge or consent. As a credit union member myself with a checking the PFCU has taken away several of my Membership Privileges without proper notification due to me being a co-signer for **. [redacted] as well. At the current time the PFCU has stated that **. [redacted], myself and another co-maker all owe a total of the bal. of the loan of $14,000 each? This is only the second time I have been notified about this loan and dont understand how all three people can owe the same balance?Desired Settlement: I would like this issue resolved with the Original loan holder [redacted] and the PFCU. I have spoken to **. [redacted] and she said she is willing to make settlement with the PFCU based the amount that is owed and not the original amount of the loan. I would also like my name removed and any negative remarks on my credit file also removed due to the Credit Unions shady loan shark practices. I would also like my original memebership privales restored back to their original status.
